Well could you actually run the speed test that you showed in the video and post the results in the chat? I have an older model Octastream that I really love but the worst part about it is the network card - it underperforms both on Wifi and on hardwired. I have 500mb service, I have my Octastream hardwired with cat6 cable, when I run either their speed test or a speed test over the internet the best I can get is only about 60-80mb. this is why I would love for you to run the test and post the results to see is they have improved the internal network card with the newer boxes.
The problem I get is too much buffering so I get alot of pauses in live TV and on VOD so I was thinking of getting a new one if this one had upgraded the internals - so it would be nice to know in advance

If I get this box, will it continue to work say 5-10 years down the line or will I have to upgrade? I’m hearing some people are having trouble with there and the channels say “down for maintenance” I’m considering buying one but I don’t want to buy one and have to spend 300$ for something that possibly won’t work 5 years from now

Have you run a speed test, if so what speeds r u getting with hardwire connection and wireless connection?

U can add any android 7 .o n higher too the box n device but why tho it has 17 too 20 apps already on it n some them will recorded chl it will only do recordings for live chls robinhood tv one app or area 51 or matrix tv app that I seen has recording but havnt used it no reason too there playback for certain stuff can watch for 7 days back wards but I'm not a big on recording stuff it used up the 128 GB of storage quickly but that's me most stuff like tv shows or sports events can be watched if missed on playback option
U can add any iptv player can be added tho for codes like x stream n mac portals n playlists n M3u the popular codes there out there trust that knowledge n info n where too look n find them is key

I have an Q4elite that won’t open the App Store anymore what do I do
U likely need too factory reset it back too status when u 1st got the device that model over 4 yrs old by octastream n it wise move I can recommend
Or unstall the app store then go too back in n see if it can be opened n if not then go too settings from home sreccn n gear wheel n try too fix it from there
I tried to uninstall the App Store but that isn’t an option. I already factory reset thru menu but I haven’t done the restore button on the side bc I don’t know procedure.
@@jdavila43512 Go too settings then apps n look for app store blue n white icon app store n unstalled then once that's done go back too apps N see if it has the app store too restall then should work

@@johnking817 Its app store from the developers of the device n box n once u download n install there blue n white icon app store its has all the apps in there too install 17 too 20 apps that key apps u be using very often n they can go up n down for maintenance n or issues but they fix them quickly n value u get it there period n they have launcher that will need updated inside app store as well that give the home page 15 app shortcuts its most allowed on any device on market n best in mine views
