Modify and replace the original Mannequin skeleton
Will not change the original skeleton, nor affect the original animation, add special extra BONE, so that the performance can be more diverse
Open a new project and use the original Mannequin skeleton as the original skeleton and replace it with a new one
Your animations are definitely top-tier, I'd love to see you tackle some dual-wield pistol or bo staff animations. Some hand-to-hand animations would be great too. Keep it up.

I purchased an animation similar to yours on the marketplace with the hopes of retargeting the animations to my model I created using Character Creator 3. I am a newbie and I am so far not able to do so. I really believe that you as an animator should actually take the time to demonstrate in a video how to achieve this.
If I was to do this and the previous video with the Ghost Samurai set to have proper sheathing would you recommend I do this first, then that? Or the Sheathe tutorial then this? I am assuming this one first as it changes but still retains the ue4 mannequin. I would like to do both but retain the mannequin, I just recall you mentioning in the other video it doesn't have the ability.
If you just want to use the original version of ue4 mannequin, just do the operation of this video, if you want to use your own model, you must do another video operation(ruclips.net/video/s0zz3oJf3N4/видео.html)

Hi! Any advice on retargeting these to the Metahuman skeleton? I've managed to get the animations looking right on the Metahuman preview mesh but can't figure out getting the weapon bones such as katana_r retargeted. Thanks!

Hello. I tried with the original mannequin and it is working very bad. Without the needed bone animations work not well. With skeleton replacement worked very well with UE4 skeleton thank you. Is it possible to get a UE5 skeleton replacement ?
Hi. First of all very nice animations. Loved the ghost samurai pack. I've been able to correctly use the katana animations. However the bow strings are not moving for me when i play the bow animations. Can you please share how i may fix that?

@@_Franky4Fingers install UE 4.27. Do the skeleton replacement. Then migrate those new assets to UE 5
Reimport Base Mesh is not posible on original UE4 SK_Mannequin. (Using UE5)
On a custom mesh, how do you retarget the weapons like the katana. Animations are good but katana_r is grey and not attached to thumb_03_r
Because your original skeleton doesn't have the BONE to control the weapon, you have to use the 3D software to add the BONE of the weapon yourself, or use the Ik_hand_gun (which is what Mannequin already has)

@@AnimsetWeaponMaster Could you make a UE5 Manny Skeleton to include in the Package? Just like you did for the UE4 one. Would be super useful now that UE5 is out and UE4 Mannequin is being phased out.
I follow the tutorial but it broke the rotation of the bow from the Modified added bone when I add a
preview of bow mesh it's not exactly the rotation on what from the video here
