      +harry puttar no this is power method with row normalisation . if want to reduce the number of iteration in this method (to converge to largest eigenvalue with minimum steps) take the norm[((b11))^2+(b21)^2+(b31)^2)^.5] of matrix instead of maximum value from (b11,b21,b31) in matrix B .
      you can find eigenvalue (k) k = X'AX . X is unit vector after nomalisation

    when i store values in matrix A and proceed to store values in matrix B, matrix A gets deleted out of memory. i am following the process properly, but my calculator is not able to store the values for both the matrices A and B. hence i am not able to do any multiplication operations. please help.

    • @sujoy70
      @sujoy70  10 лет назад

      Are u using Casio fx-991ES? Try clear the memories before entering MATRIX mode by pressing SHIFT+9,then press 3 and then = button.
      .

    • @growwithdesign
      @growwithdesign 10 лет назад

      Sujoy Krishna Das
      i got it finally! yes i am using fx-911es. the trick is that i had to use the Dim function to enter a new matrix B after matrix A by pressing shift+4 instead of going in to 'mode' again to enter a new matrix.
      So i understand that, only by using the "Dim" function, the calculator is able to store both Matrix values together in memory.
