I don't have any update files for this device, but based on my experience with other MIB devices (like MIB2STD in VW Golf MK7) software updates are not available publicly, dealers perform updates only if there's a reason (VW orders dealers to do it when car is in for service or if customer complains about performance/bluetooth issues). If somehow you find the update online, is fairly easy to install it (put files on card/usb drive and go), but there's also an internal fault stored in the radio/infotainment module. It's easy to take care of it but you will need diagnostic tool like OBDeleven or VCDS to do it.

Can't wait to see the battery or in particular range extender.
It will take time because I am waiting parts from China and this usually takes around a month to come.

I have spend quite a time to find any software but unfortunately I couldn't. I hope some of my views can point us out to some location.

on dash behind the phone holder you have usb port, you can also connect there USB with music etc

I don't know actually. I plan to go to my dealership this week for a software update and I will check what version they will install.

I think IT is, but the sub amp was under the rear seats, and i don't know If there is still space there...
