The city of Halifax is a very special one to me (Sarah). It’s not only the capital city of Nova Scotia, bit it’s my old stomping grounds from my middle school, high school, and university days :) I took Kyuho on a mini Halifax day trip there (via the ferry route across the Halifax Harbour) to introduce him to some of my favorite sights, eats (best pizza and ice cream in the city), and vibes of Halifax :)

Jaehyun "David" Cho, 32, of Toronto, faces 13 counts of charges ranging from kidnapping to sexual assault in connection to two violent sexual assaults in 2013 and 2014.
2013년 9월 27일 금요일 자정 미시사가 Visual College of Art and Design 근처 40대 여성 버스에서 내린후 성폭행.
The first happened on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at around 12 a.m., when police said a female was getting off a transit bus in the area of South Service Road and Crestview Ave in Mississauga. A man brought out a weapon, grabbed the victim and pulled her into a darkened area, where he sexually assaulted her.

On Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, a female got off of a bus at approximately 12:30 a.m. at Yonge Street and Canyon Hill Avenue in Richmond Hill when she was approached by a man armed with a knife. Police said he demanded money, then pulled her into a field and sexually assaulted her.

@10:10 - Actually, it was the clock on City Hall (to your right, the north end of the Grand Parade) that was frozen from damage from the Halifax Explosion. Can't recall if both sides stopped or only the side facing Duke Street (the opposite side of the building), though.

I don't know what the summer is like in Korea but it has been freaking hot here, all across Canada. So hot that the wild fires here have been out of control, all across Canada, especially in the Northwest Territories. The fires are now burning in the Okanagan where a lot of fruit orchards are. Canada is use to having fires but not like this year where whole communities have had to evacuate people to other parts of the country.

9. Your buses sound like the Nassau County buses. If you miss it, you have to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour. And then sometimes (more like MOST OF THE TIME), the 30 minute bus never comes, and then suddenly 3-4 buses arrive all together and it’s just so obnoxious. >:( See, this is why I caved in and bought a car.

I fell in love with Penelope and with Canada as well! Wish I could visit but it's so far away from Europe. I only was at the Toronto airport once on my way to San Francisco. From what I've seen in your videos, Halifax has an European flair while being strongly Northern American. Love it.

I've lived in Canada for 6 years and I totally understand the stress of taking the bus XD Halifax seems really nice! I wish I'll have the chance to visit one day ^^
The transit system in Halifax is the bane of my existence, lol 😅 Not sure if it’s the same elsewhere in Canada, but I wasted so many hours on those buses during my uni days 😬
2hearts1seoul it was basically the same thing for York Region Transit in GTA, once you miss the bus, you need to wait for 30 mins or an hour 🤢 Things got a bit better when they introduced VIVA though... but during my uni days it took me 3 hrs at least on commuting everyday too 😞
-Dude that slice of pizza looks like 1/4 of the whole pie! I'd probably eat the whole thing too lol!
-Man pizza and some poutine after a club night would be perfect! I bet that corner makes a killing on Friday/Saturday nights.
-That's very interesting about Korean law. Kinda sucks though. I remember being able to go aboard when I was like 18 or 19 and being able to drink. Korean law is so strict, but at the same time that can be a good thing.
-That visitor map needs some sewing needle type pins haha. Those push pins were way too big!
