Same here. I feel if the K-9 officer's human partner can go through the grief, I can look at the K-9, thank him, and pray for his family and fellow officers.

He wasn't just a 'dog' but a soldier and a police officer. He saved lives and enriched the lives around him, as do all police and military dogs. I had my last Baby girl for almost 16 years . A runt Min-Pin at 6-1/2 lbs . She taught me a lot about life and stole my heart 💜. I didn’t even leave my house for 5 days after I had to put her down . My current Baby girl is a mixed breed beagle , multiple rescue that ended up needing 2 major surgeries , 1 back and 1 neck about 1-1/2 years apart . Both from spinal injuries . I had to teach her to walk again after the first surgery . $22K later and she’s doing very well . I dread the day when we have to part . Love the people and pets in your life while you can , the end comes quickly and you can never go back !

Largo is in Rainbow Heaven waiting for his daddy to meet him there. He is happy and healthy and playing infields of green grass .He will wait until daddy comes to get him with love and excitement. God bless his little precious angels.
Got pulled over once for speeding by a K-9 unit The cop told me to exit the vehicle so he could sit in his patrol car to write the ticket only thing is I had a bunch of weed in my sock so the dog in the back seat stuck his head through the little opening and started going off barking and stuff looking right at me so the cop was like yelling at it while he was writing it up so he ended up closing the sliding window wrote the ticket and sent me on my way Happiest I’ve ever been to get a speeding ticket (only) 😅. 🤣😂
