Rest In Peace Deputy Mac 🇺🇸 🎗🐾 It has been my honor and privilege to be entrusted with providing retired K9 officers and discharged military service dogs a retirement home for nearly my entire life. It began with our families breeding and training dogs, who if needed after serving, could return home. That grew into being a place known for accepting retirees, when the handlers could not keep them for a variety of reasons. Because I know what these dogs mean to their handlers, and their departments, I offer my deepest condolences to all.
K9 Mac did so much in so little time that he’s been on this earth. It’s not fair that a loyal and loving companion of his units and handlers had to leave them because of such an illness. His resume reads like a Warrior - a true Warrior in the form of an incredible being that just wanted to work, love, and be loved. None of us deserve dogs; they’re the best Gift of God sent from heaven. Now K9 Mac is back to Heaven and being loved with the best toys and endless treats. My condolences for his handlers, community, and the country he has served. K9 Mac, we may not have known you, but we still love you for what you’ve done to make our world better. ❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

This was hard for me to watch, I too recently had to put my down down cos he had an aggressive cancer to. He didn't serve as a police dog but he was our hero who helped u through some hard times. RIP Mac.
I respect these canine officer heroes a great deal, but it breaks my heart every time I watch these. I’m in awe of the respect they’re shown and deserve. I don’t think people realize how many officers these heroes we have lost.
