  • There was so much variety in the scenery on this walk which was teaming with walkers, cyclists and joggers on a mid August Sunday morning.
Join me for a fab little 5 mile walk from Exmouth Railway Station to the terrific little town of Topsham .
We'll stop for a farmyard cream tea along the way too!
There is a little bit of an audio issue at the beginning of the video which I had been unaware of when I filmed it, but it does not last for long. I hope you enjoy this upbeat walk and that it inspires you to get out and explore new places for yourself.

I loved all of that walk & the refreshments stops. As much as I thought there were a lot of cyclists, I am sure they were thinking there were too many pedestrians!

That’s so true Faith! They probably were thinking that!

That farmyard cafe looked great, and very reasonable prices too!
The scones with jam looked fab.
This was a really lovely walk.
You looked just so relaxed on this walk.
    Loved the swaying reeds.
    Good to see Topsham again!
    Take care,
    Paul

Thank you Paul! Yes, I thought the farmyard cafe was very reasonable too. Such a nice location.
I think I felt quite relaxed - great that it came across 🤗
I love Topsham! Really looking forward to returning there to Darts Farm and the ferry.

Great walk Louise. Cream tea looked marvellous. I know what you mean about the seaweed smell too. We are staying just out side Sidmouth for a short break in Oct so may have to try this walk for ourselves. Thank you for taking us along with you. Thouroughly enjoyed it.

Hi lovely video , but Topsham is pronounced as ..... TOPS ..... HAM , back in the day the Hamlet next to Top's Farm , we locals are a bit fussy !!!!!

Thank you! I appreciate that. I like to pronounce things properly, so thank you for the hint on how to pronounce it. Going forward I will use that pronunciation.

Gosh! That walk was nice, but you seemed in danger of being knocked down by a cyclist at any moment. I bet very few of them had a bell fitted.

That’s true! I had to have my wits about me! There were quite a few places where there were signs warning cyclists to slow down.
