    Seeing this I can get why Chu Shogi became more popular: most of the removed pieces are too weak or kinda redundant, and the fact that all of them promote to gold general feels a bit boring. In fact, I'd say the Flying Dragon and, specially, the Violent Ox don't benefit from this "promotion".

    Where did you get those dai shogi pieces? How can I get a set of those?? I make my own boards in the USA.

      I got a board and pieces from a store in shinjuku but the price is insane if you can make your own you would save good money.
