I must admit, a short form like this performance has an aesthetic beauty to it which is reminiscent of certain aspects of Japanese art. However, after having studied it for some time and having seen countless choreographies, I've come to the sad conclusion that it's very restrictive as an expressive art form and quite frankly also dead boring. Obviously, I'm only talking about the performance type of Eurythmy. That said, I do believe in the bodily expression of the soul. However, as souls evolve, one cannot uphold the same basic movements, therefore limiting expression, thought up a century ago when expressing oneself a tad too freely was considered vulgar. Time to modernise the art form or to say goodbye and archive it:)
