I know I've never been in this situation before. But man, I can imagine, being in this kind of situation, chit-chatting about feeling my feet is the last thing on my bucket list, and of course, constantly making movement to see what the freak is going on lol. It is always so irritating to see people keep going "what is going on" when there is a clear threat right in front.

3:24 dave was aware that the mirror is two-way after pointing his finger so he's about to shoot it but mccall knows it too so he make emergency stop by to the side of the road to call dave to interrupt him.

I know it created a tense scene, but having one wall of a panic room a thin sheet of glass, the cons outweigh the pros by a huge margin
And who has a mirror like that installed in a wall in their house? And the safe room opens without a code, just a button? There’s a reason that actual panic rooms are armored and have a code.
I guarantee you that mirror would’ve been bulletproof if he tested it out lol

I don’t think it’s really a panic room even, it’s probably a room that Robert would use to ambush any enemy coming into his apartment. Robert doesn’t hide from anything, he just makes sure he’s in the right position to get the jump on whoever’s trying to kill him. Plus all on his Marine Corps stuff is in there too, it’s like a memorabilia and ambush room.
He had to kill all of them because they left without watering his plants.

Same thought I had when I seen it in the cinema : wasn't expecting York and Kovac to emerge when Miles thought the coast was clear - Good direction.
Miles is about as quiet as a metal trash can rolling down a hill.
I like how Denzel made sure to pull over while speaking on the phone. Safety first.
Robert should’ve called Pedro earlier because him calling Pedro just as Pedro was going to shoot the mirror gave it away that there was someone hiding. So basically Miles was going to get caught regardless if he came out of hiding quickly or not because Pedro is a smart guy, he knew someone was hiding.
Not necessarily. They were hunting McCall and they were technically under a huge assumption that he was going to the island where he used to live. The fact is all of them are highly directed marines, killers, and survivalist, and intelligence analysist. If McCall didn't want to be found he wouldn't have been.
I imagine they THOUGHT McCall was protecting someone in a panic room or that someone else was there but that's ALL. A really good hunch. A hunch that'd have been unfounded if Miles had just sat his ass down and not moved. It'd be pretty dumb of them to just be sitting there waiting on someone who MIGHT still be in the apartment. They had a good lead of where he might have been so after a few minutes they'd have realize there's no one there to go catch McCall.

It’s pretty clear that the earring caught Dave’s attention. He was actually about to shoot before the phone call. Otherwise two guys hiding until Miles come out can’t be explained.

For everyone commenting Miles is stupid for going out, remember, the dialogue implies that he has claustrophobia, so the moment he thought he was in the clear he left, because he didn’t want to spend any more time in that confined space
I'm not sure if I buy that reasoning. Especially when it comes to hiding from guys that will kill you if they find you. That's when you suck it up and you stay put until you are certain they are gone.

They literally could have just camped across the bridge and let the storm pass. There was only one exit off the island which was the bridge. The only consolation is that the Island wasn't abandoned so people would more than likely return so they were under limited time to gut him without any witnesses but they didn't really care all that much at that point.

3:11 movie sin right here, an actual two way mirror wouldn't reflect the light back to you (from the flashlight), it would be weird to the untrained eye but very obvious otherwise (especially to these alleged assassins). In fact the one trick to see if there's a two-way mirror is to use a flashlight on it and see if the light is reflected back or not, so if this was actual reality and an assassin was shining is flashlight into a mirror he would instantly have known it was a two way mirror and probably kicked or shot the mirror and see Miles. At 3:13 you actually see Miles is being lid up by the flashlight, so that obviously means the light is GOING THROUGH THE MIRROR and NOT REFLECTING BACK. Anyone would notice this.
But instead this is a typical Hollywood movie so common sense doesn't count, he doesn't see it at all, thinks its all OK, gets distracted and leaves. To top it off, instead of Miles just sitting tight and opening Netflix or something on his phone, he IMMEDIATELY rushes out, like the bad dudes haven't even left for 2 seconds and he's already out of the safe room like an absolute idiot, and naturally 15 seconds later gets caught. Movies are so dumb these days 🙄

But the guy noticed that it is a two way mirror. Wanted to shoot it, than got a call by their target so he probably thought that no one is in there. He than probably thought about why their target would even call them if he isn’t in his Appartement so they thought that someone might be in there. The only idiot in this scene is the kid, most unrealistic thing someone would do in this situation. You probably more likely shit your pants and are too afraid to move.
@@xKipura I'm actually with the kid on this one, not that unrealistic to want to run like an idiot asap. Lizard brain doesn't do logic, lizard brain wants to get out of the dangerous situation. His adrenline is UP, he needs to MOVE, he was being retrained by moving too slowly. If your response to danger is flight, you actually want to run as fast as you can, but your logic is telling you staying put is actually the best thing to do in this situation.
