do not turn off engine. just park and let the engine be running. the oil will circulate and radiator will cool it down. if you turn it off you it will take hours to cool down.

don't mistake to open bonnet immediately if you see car is getting hot. just park aside and stop the engine wait 15 minutes than open. reason: your car always has rubber pipes in few places for coolent. in case there is blockage in radiator these pipe expand to adjust pressure. but if they failed to hold the pressure they burst. sometimes radiator itself burst.
Moreover, don’t ever try to open the coolant tank on a engine that has just turned off. The water is almost at boiling temperature and it burst out as soon as pressure is released, which can cause you to get severe burns and you could have to get hospitalized!
You will have to wait 15 minutes at any cost because you can't fill water or coolent in hot radiator else you can't do anything immediately in overheating car it's better to wait.
Tip:- don't turn off engine. Keep engine in idle, this will cools faster as radiator fan keeps running and circulates coolant until engine cools down. Never open coolant tank caps. It'll definitely spill on you cuz of its high temperature

That is coolant temperature, not engine temp. If coolant temp increases, turn off car and wait for some time to cool it down. After that inspect. Avoid using AC in hilly areas and always use 1st gear when starting from zero speed. Clutch burn happens if we try to accelerate hard in half clutch during initial pickup from standstill. Know your car's clutch bite point, the clutch position where car stars to move, and then smoothly give little raise and release clutch. (this will help the car to move in steep climb) Many people in hilly areas use half clutch, therefore increasing clutch temp eventually damaging the clutch plates. If your car is in overall good shape and maintained properly then there is less change of coolant level rising provided the radiator fins are clean and coolant is at optimal level.

If engine is heating due to uphill climb don't immediately turn off the engine abruptly it will still damage. Instead park it open bonnet and leave the engine in idle for few minutes and slowly increase RMP in stand still condition this will cool the engine by increasing circulation. I am guessing these cars have no antifreeze. This has 3 components to it. 1) Protect the engine from freezing - which does not apply to Bharat. 2) Protect the engine from overheating in hot cilms 3) Has anti ocidantants to prevent rust from building in the engine channels.. Antifreeze has to be renewed periodically, which depends on its type ranging from every 2 yrs to 10 years. My recommendation at renewal is to flush the cooling system with flushing agents and then replenish with a fresh charge. There are specialist antifreeze available that are not water based thay Protect the engine in greater extremes of temperature range. These are expensive but have no renewal frequency. Other coolants must not be mixed with its use. Driving at altitudes will cause overheating as due to reduced air pressure, which affects cooling efficiency. Avoid using Air Conditioning at altitudes or if coolant temperature starts rising from its normal. Ensure the thermostat is working properly, an indication would be if coolant stays above normal temperature. Secondly, to increase the coolant surface area of the system, turn the heater matrix to hot and run your matrix fan on full. Obviously opening your windows to cool passengers down.

But wanted to reach to nearest garage as the indicator was still in middle and i had continues watch on it.. I was on highway... And after some time... My indicator was at H I immediately switched the engine off but my brakes got failed... But i did not panicked.. I used the hand brake to halt the car.. With hazards light own.. And called the mechanic... My plastic elbow was broken which is attached to the hoss pipe... Now my car is fine..

If coolant temp increases, turn off car and wait for some time to cool it down. After that inspect.
Avoid using AC in hilly areas and always use 1st gear when starting from zero speed. Clutch burn happens if we try to accelerate hard in half clutch during initial pickup from standstill. Know your car's clutch bite point, the clutch position where car stars to move, and then smoothly give little raise and release clutch. (this will help the car to move in steep climb)
Many people in hilly areas use half clutch, therefore increasing clutch temp eventually damaging the clutch plates.
If your car is in overall good shape and maintained properly then there is less change of coolant level rising provided the radiator fins are clean and coolant is at optimal level.
When car is hot, then park to the side and don't turn OFF your car until temperature is back to normal and also don't open coolant cap

If engine is heating due to uphill climb don't immediately turn off the engine abruptly it will still damage. Instead park it open bonnet and leave the engine in idle for few minutes and slowly increase RMP in stand still condition this will cool the engine by increasing circulation. Incase it is heating without load condition then cooling system is blocked that needs mechanics assistant

Bhai bas half clutch pe gaadi na roke and minimum use of clutch pedal will avoid any heating. Also if it is hot just leave the car in idle. Never open the coolant lid.
Once upon a time there was best SUVs in India which included Mitsubishi Pajero Ford Endeavour Tata Safari Mahindra Bolero maruti gypsy before 2013 these SUVs never faced such problems even when we are climbing on hilly roads.

Steps to follow:
1. Park vehicle aside and let engine run on idle. Let radiator, cooling fan and coolant do its work.
2. Open all windows, turn AC to max heat and blower to max speed. This will draw heat from engine and helps in cooling faster.
3. Wait till coolant temperature drops and either switch off ignition or drive to the nearest mechanic.

When i first visited a hill station, i came to realized ICE have perfumes as well.
Mai TATA Motors ke cooling system department ka design lead reh chuka hu, 42deg par car overheat nahi hota, ab aap jindagi bhar car chalaoge aur radiator, CAC, condenser ko saf nahi karoge to aisa hi hoga, ensure they are clean, ensure coolant level is good (check DAT) also ensure your lube oil is not degraded, also ensure cooling fan is operating correctly.
Take care of these things especially of hilly areas and particularly in summer.
Is condition mein kabhi bhi engine na band karein sirf AC ko band karein aur gaadi rok dein. Agar aapki gadi se fog nikal raha ho to bonnet na kholein. Radiator engine ko cool karta rehta hai overheating ke baad. Temprature apne aap down aa jayega

Skoda non-LED screen display automatically starts showing temperature if it starts increasing beyond 90 degrees. Driving in 45 degree afternoon heat starting from Pathankot to Dalhousie the temperature started rising. In this situation it's not a problem in your car the outside temperature is higher than what the radiator system was designed for. Avoid driving uphill in extreme heat conditions.

I am guessing these cars have no antifreeze. This has 3 components to it. 1) Protect the engine from freezing - which does not apply to Bharat.
2) Protect the engine from overheating in hot cilms
3) Has anti ocidantants to prevent rust from building in the engine channels..
Antifreeze has to be renewed periodically, which depends on its type ranging from every 2 yrs to 10 years.
My recommendation at renewal is to flush the cooling system with flushing agents and then replenish with a fresh charge.
There are specialist antifreeze available that are not water based thay Protect the engine in greater extremes of temperature range. These are expensive but have no renewal frequency. Other coolants must not be mixed with its use.
Driving at altitudes will cause overheating as due to reduced air pressure, which affects cooling efficiency. Avoid using Air Conditioning at altitudes or if coolant temperature starts rising from its normal. Ensure the thermostat is working properly, an indication would be if coolant stays above normal temperature. Secondly, to increase the coolant surface area of the system, turn the heater matrix to hot and run your matrix fan on full. Obviously opening your windows to cool passengers down.

Please note: After completely cooling after half hour check the coolant level and never add water 💦 in coolant tank immediately after shutting down engine..We did this mistake already and we faced engine failure(The piston expanded and stuck in bore (cylinder area)). For adding water wait until car completely cools down 😊😊

The cars parked along roadside are in the mountainous region with snowclad peaks , it means the temperature of this place seems to be between 15 degree Celsius to 20 degree Celsius. The car engine temp. Can't go High because air temp. is low, road is blacktop, slope is also gentle. There may be anothet reason for this, seems to be to shoot the video.

Just 3days back my coolant leaked and i did not realised.. But after few hrs.. I noticed it.. But wanted to reach to nearest garage as the indicator was still in middle and i had continues watch on it.. I was on highway... And after some time... My indicator was at H I immediately switched the engine off but my brakes got failed... But i did not panicked.. I used the hand brake to halt the car.. With hazards light own.. And called the mechanic... My plastic elbow was broken which is attached to the hoss pipe... Now my car is fine..
