Malkoçoğlu gets caught with Mihrimah and starts to sweat blood. Hürrem gets surprised because of her daughter's confessions. The news that Mustafa has disobeyed the order comes in the palace like a bombshell. When Suleiman considers this a rebellion, everyone begs for him to show mercy on Mustafa. Mustafa comes to the capital with the order given by his father. Suleiman's rage screams the place down. Meanwhile, Esmahan gets angry with Mihrimah and accepts marrying Malkoçoğlu. As they start to get in a dangerous enmity, Hürrem gets devastated because of the news that someone is missing.
Hürrem gets angry as she sees Malkoçoğlu and Mihrimah together. She warns both of them harshly. However, she gets shocked as she learns the truth.
Suleiman gets angry because of the news about Mustafa. Prince Mustafa has disobeyed the order. As everyone gets worried about what will happen to Mustafa, Hürrem gets pleased about that. The day she has been waiting has finally come.
As Esmahan suddenly accepts marrying Malkoçoğlu, Sultana Şah takes an action right away. Mihrimah gets mad about it and asks Hürrem for help. Malkoçoğlu gets
caught in the cross-fire and has to make a decision.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Hes not that far below her, his grandfather was a sultan, his father a governor of a sanjak and he is second cousin and close friend of suleiman. Who else is better qualified besides another prince?
Dude literally if you think about that everyone is below her but her brothers and her father, like what is she going to marry those? No of course not in the palace daughters of the Sultan would often marry men who are close to Sultan. And Bali bey is very close to Suleyman

I had a similar question in mind. At first Mirimah and Esmahan had an amicable relationship. The two cousins were trying to get along, regardless of the competition between ther mothers.
But after Esmahan expressed an interest in Mehmet, Mirimah started to be cold and rude to her.
Apparently, she didn't thought that Esmahan was good enough for Mehmet. And since her parents and she outrank Esmahan and her parents, Mirimah could say wahtever she wants and get away with it.
You know what's the funny part; Mirimah had the audacity (I can't explain it differently) to wonder why Esmahan made things personal by expressing an interest in Bali Bey; HER Bali Bey, nontheless
