Thats a quality instrument too. For a nylon string guitar it probably plays better than a traditional classical style guitar. Great for learning classical guitar songs and now you have a guitar that will do that and more with alternate tunings and finger picking styles if you decide to go that route. We are happy for you.
Happy 21st Birthday! The Nylon strings will help with the difficult transitional chords that classical and jazz have in store for you. Some serious finger stretching that would be semi impossible on steel strings, makes Nylon ones much more accessible, even for those finger twisting painful to think about, let alone pull off, chords. make sure to have your local luthier/guitar shop look at the bridge - they had some QC issues for a while that were the bridge not getting enough glue so they were pulling off after a while; should be simple to check and make sure yours isn't going to come apart but if so it's also just adding some glue/clamp to set it properly strong. Great gift! I am jealous!
Now you finally can learn some flamenco. Check Camarón de la Isla, you are gonna have fun trying to play it! Congrats!! Edit: maybe not, I'm not sure if you could put flamenco strings and spit on that thang!

I once had a 3/4 guitar with nylon strings. I LOVED playing it. I never used a pick with it as the strings were very comfortable and non-abraisive.😊
