That fan was great all game. He was screaming his head off at some brutal calls the ump made starting in like the 5th inning to the point I thought he might get thrown out. The people around him seemed to get annoyed but faintly hearing him on the broadcast was hilarious
I saw his reactions. They were one of the best parts of the game.
If you’re gonna go to a game, might as well be a fan. You can sit in silence at home
dude i was watching and getting annoyed by his yelling all game lmfao
The dodger broadcast was laughing at him the entire time
That’s Philly, baby.
I’d love to see the fan get his own separate breakdown from this game. He was comedic gold behind the plate for every bad call!
Yes, I remember watching this game and the whole game he was there with the same intensity. Awesome kid, true fan.
for real lmaooo
Do it!
That fan needs to comment on here because someone who's that intense into baseball has to follow Jomboy right?
Why is it "comedic gold" to be excited about your team?
Unreal how fast Quinn got to home. Took me some time to realize he came from 2nd.
That’s insane
Id like to see the lead he had and obviously with two outs he was running his heart out on contact regardless but still I can’t believe he scored from second on that little bobble
That man has some jets!
@@sJd9579 some good heads up baserunning doesn't hurt either.
Speed + smart baserunning = a winning combination. It reminds me of ruclips.net/video/XgyPqFcbbM4/видео.html , another play that should have been a routine game-ending out, but an error (and smart baserunning) allowed the home team to end the game.
blue shirt's claps were for himself. He was like "Yeah, this is good. I'm doing good. I'm at a game, and a little clap for myself. Way to go. Self care."
"Left the house and went further than the coffee shop. Good for [me]."
Read this in the jomboy voice lol
Self care. 💀💀
Need more breakdowns of fans showing their team spirit, shout out to that energetic Phillies fan
He was letting the ump have it on a few really bad calls too! Good fan
who the fook is this guy?
need to let baseball games be general admittance and let the real fans sit behind home plate
I agree and loved All of it!! LoL
“They are very similar, until they are wildly different!”
I completely agree Jimmy😂😂😂
It's never ceases to amaze me they can read a ball like that...
@@CCBCodeMonkey Yet I’ve heard people say it takes no talent to play baseball. Yeahb’okay 🙄.
I was never a baseball fan before finding this channel. The little details that I’d have never noticed are so friggin cool in these breakdowns. That 3rd base coach read the whole thing, such a cool detail
You weren't a fan because you weren't watching it right. Welcome aboard, baseball is the best.
Same. And I've read similar comments on many, many other Jomboy videos.
I only get my baseball on Jomboy Media. 👍
VALUE breakdown! This is like 4 breakdowns in one breakdown! 3rd base coach credibility +200
I'm 99% sure at some point yelling guy yelled "good eye" based on personal experience at baseball games of all levels.
Also: Make him pitch to you!
Yeah that fan is 10/10. Good game knowledge, excited for the right reasons.
and because he did have a good eye!
Realmuto usually is a good base runner, but everything went wrong here 💀
All good we still won
Luckily it all worked out
It wasn’t “bad” baserunning it was just really smart play by Turner
Realamuto is good everywhere
@@gannonelkins5134 Theres no way a pro should fall for little league shit
As a Dodger fan, I didn't mind if we lost this game because it was mostly a good showing by both teams, but losing by the error absolutely sucked.
I just felt horrible for Muncy because of how rough the season has been for him.
I’m a fan of neither team but I would hold my hands up too..I would have fallen for that all day that was a hell of a deke
@u know me YAY
At least when Lux bobbles, he walks it off for the win
@@nickhamel8004 that was a highschool level deke lmao
Dodger fans suck
That third base coach is exactly how parenting goes. Tell your kid not to touch a hot stove, kid touches said hot stove, and you stand there like “you should’ve listened.”
I was so sad when that ball ate Muncy up because I knew it was a breakdown with just the deke alone. Then add the error , the loss and I knew Jomboy would be all over it
Lol every time I’m watching the Phillies and something goes wrong I am like crap Jomboy is going to break this down.
A happy kind of sad, then. Jomboy breakdown as a consolation prize. 🥈
Michael Busch is ready...call him up.
Great base running by Quwn is an understatement, that was the deciding factor. He doesn’t advance on the Mookie throw, he’s on first when Max boots it and then only gets to second anyways with the boot. What happens next is anyones guss, but that was spectacular heads up critical base running; arguably the single factor teams can do to gain an edge in todays game. They don’t want to steal, well you better hustle when you can then because being 90 ft ahead is huge.
It wasn't great base running, it was executing the fundemantals like every player should. If he is not on second after the throw to third it's a huge mistake. But because so many of today's players are so fundementally weak it's considered greaat base running
How the hell did you end up with Quwn
The extra breakdown of the fan, perfect
that fan that you pointed out was yelling, and there the whole game. The ump made a bad call and he was on him about it lmao. you could hear his screams to the ump on tv. it was funny as hell.
also the kid was biting the arm sleeves that were given away free at the game.
The fan was there the whole game? Wow!
Lol jk
I knew you would do a breakdown when I saw this live haha. Thanks Jomboy!
WOW YOURE A GENIUS WHAT WILL HE DO NEXT??
Me too
He said you’re welcome
Exactly. There's no way he was gonna miss those horrible claps.
From the Philly area, they recapped Quinn running from 2nd to home for about 30 minutes straight on the postgame
I knew the moment I saw JT make this play that Jomboy would cover it.
JT made a great play in a rundown in the 2020 Atlanta series that saves a game.
He's an underrated 3rd baseman.
That was cool. I'm a Giants fan, but that is smart player instincts.
I really appreciate the bit at the end comparing those two pitches, the importance of that moment would have been completely lost on me had you not pointed it out in such a simple to understand way.
I dont understand baseball but I really enjoy your approach.
💯 yes!
I always find it kinda crazy in baseball that you can have first and third base coaches standing right by the bag and being allowed to give the runner info on where the ball is. And it's because of this that makes it even crazier these kinds of trick plays can succeed at all.
I thought the ball went past him at first I fell for it too 😭
Yes! Saw this one live and immediately wanted a JB breakdown. Thank you kind sir.
Good on the 3rd base coach. Not only did he see what was happening, but also ACTUALLY got out of the way
The quality of Jomboy's videos and commentary always kicks ass. Thanks for the showing the highlights within the highlights.
We were talking about that dude the whole game. He was so loud you could hear him on the broadcast. It was awesome and so much added fun. What a great game!
He should get free tickets to all home games, to bring life to everyone there.
@@stevebabiak6997 I was hoping Jomboy would do a breakdown of this game and was pretty sure if he did he would spot such an enthusiastic fan if he did.
Funny thing is the night before, people were rightfully BASHING Dustin Wathan (3rd base coach) the night before for a horrible send of Herrera that Betts absolutely nailed him at the plate for. But he was right on it here.
Also you should've seen that same fan yell at the umpire after a bad strike call to Hoskins in the sixth! you could hear him clear as day "Blue, Come on! What is that?! What is that?!"
Dont ever change jomboy. Stay golden.
jomyboy
@@surfinganddancing1609 i caught it, too
I see what you did there...👏
Wow. I haven't heard "stay golden" since back in the 1900s. Talk about a blast from the past.
@@juliebraden6911 you're welcome young buck.
“Paint me like one of your French women.” I’m dead. 😂🤣💀
I really can’t express how much I wish you’d do more breakdowns of my favorite sports, basketball and futball. Bc I’m watching these, every single one, even though it’s a sport I could care less about, because it’s the kind of commentary and analysis I’ve always wanted.
This disappointed dad look by the third base coach at 1:56 is great.
This was like two breakdowns for the price of one. Love it!
Great vid. You're right on about the trailing runner. Every news vid I saw focused on the error by Max. I had no idea that the runner on 2nd got there by Betts' decision to try and get the runner at 3rd.
That was beautiful. Everything in this breakdown was great. And as a Padres fan, the ending was *chef's kiss*.
I work at citizens bank park just was getting off stayed to watch the end and this breakdown is everything rn GO PHILLIES!!! We still the fightin
I love that little variation on the hidden ball trick; never seen it before.
My home broadcast from Philly played it a couple times. Crazy awesome play to score from second. Super heads up.
This breakdown was art. Feels like my first breakdown way back when. 👍
My first breakdown was that girl yelling at the guy.
No boys the best. Love your breakdowns and I rarely gush about breakdowns.
I so love these breakdowns. I appreciate these videos
Thats gotta be one of the coolest fake out plays ive seen in baseball!? That was just genius!? Also love it when u show some of the crazy or just amped up fans...cuz u never really notice those things!?
The rally caps and rally glasses behind the plate @3:56. Great to see true baseball fans.
"I dunno what that kid is biting" 😂💕👍
Thanks for Philly I wasn't expecting a video until Sunday night with Angel Hernadez behind the plate!
Bravo Jomboy! This is a MLB network level breakdown with that dash of Jomboy spin that we all love. I could use this to coach up my summer league team.
3:32
Love the beakdowns. I'm surprised you haven't made one on Pujols and Yadi pitching...
as soon as i watched the game live i kept checking for your breakdown of it
@JomboyMedia Your sequence from 4:15 - 4:30 on the clapping fan had me dying.😂👌
Fantastic Jomboy! I suggest you do Chuck Knoublach's decoy play at second on the 7th game of the 1991 WS. It won the Twins the championship.
great stuff brother. i so love your breakdows. you are amazing.
This channel increases my love of the game! THANK YOU!!!
This is a top 3 breakdown. Let's goooo Jomboy!!!!!
As always Jomboy, I love your replay analysis and color commentary.
Gotta love that dude, cheering on the team I’m sure makes someone on the field gain confidence and that the people are there with them.
Thanks for making baseball interesting. I don't watch baseball, but I watch your vids every upload!
Should have caught that fan when the ump called a really bad strike zone!!! Was epic!
Coach got closer to the play than the ump did haha that’s awesome!!
You gotta do a breakdown on the Phillies braves game where realmuto threw the ball past the shortstop, secondbasemen and center fielder to let dansby score from first 😂😂 love your breakdowns as always man ❤️
“Nope. We don’t need to see that again.”
-Every Phillies fan
I was at the game and died inside
Girardi looked like he was ready to punch someone after that play
This is the earliest I’ve been
Quality breakdown bro! Had me cracking up! Love you jomboy
3 jomboy breakdowns after coming home on the second to last day of school??? Life is looking up 👍
Love the third base coach breakdown
Great baseball and really nice breakdown!
Shout out to the 3rd base umpire Carlos Torres as well, who did not get duped by the simple deke, and who was in perfect position to make a great call on the tag.
I noticed that fan too watching that game 😂 he was pumped!!!! Don’t sit with me unless you bring that energy
I never been so early to one of you videos, you are one of the best commentators in years never stop what you are doing.
Nasty breakdown of those two pitches at the end - dang
Bruh I was amped during this whole vid. I appreciate sportsmanship
"I'm a big fan of that fan" never before has wiser words been uttered
Hands down the best breakdown I’ve ever seen. Thanks jimmy
Great breakdown. So much that I love about baseball in 6 minutes 27 seconds. Hey, as a Rangers fan, I have to take the little joys when and where I can get them.
I haven’t baseball in 40 years -- but this video was super interesting / entertaining! +500 bonus points!!
I would’ve loved to see a shot of Quinn reacting and running the bases, I know it was two outs so he was probably just running it out anyways but he still got home pretty damn fast
Scored from second on that play? that dude is super fast lol he flew over there 😂
I love the fan breakdown, this is a good one.
Love your breakdowns
@4:06, and all around there, how do you not love it, and lose it, laughing, especially? 😂🤣☠️👻
2:22 amazing throw
As a Braves fan even I found myself impressed with the hustle of Quinn and impressed with the come from behind win.
You make me happy. Thankyou!
That overlay of the pitches at the end of the video was the diamond on top of the gold heap
super insight as always
This was an exciting analysis!
Great recap! You're the best!
"what am I even here for?" that got existential real quick
Outstanding work jom
Great work!!
"The Manfred Man" sounds so 1930's news reporter. Love it.
Jomboy should dig up old footage of the Tampa Bay heckler. They had no crowd in the early 2000s so he could be heard so clearly and he would heckle Shea Hillenbrand, from directly behind home plate, relentlessly every time they played the Red Sox. Classic
Thanks for helping me enjoy baseball again Jomboy, I appreciate the shit out of it 🙌
Brilliant. Thank you
This is vintage Jomboy. Love it!
"what are you adding?" 😆
Yours is the only baseball content I watch. Including games.
Good work. Again.
JT is damn good defender. That diving tag then throw he made in Game 7 of 2020 NLCS is one of greatest and underrated plays in baseball history.
Lol “well, did all that I could do. What am I even here for?” 😂😂
Another SAVAGE narration/commentary…much love, Sir
Great as always observations of the fans
