Morning Mike and Family, In regards to Sheetz doing background checks on potential employees I say Bravo, they are doing a great service to their customers employing good and honest people to work for them. Just remember those in jails and prisons didn't get there by singing too loud in church. Love seeing the work you do. Have a blessed weekend.
I like your reference to those in jail/prisons 😅😅
I think the Problem was Old Joe didn't get a Great Reception when he visited and one of his staff had a hissy fit!
@@straydawg461 Thank you
@@KartGraphiXcom True oh so true!
@@KartGraphiXcom yup 😊
You’re officially a birder now.I clearly see your enthusiasm on this lens. Can’t wait for the close up on that big buck. And the Piliated woodpecker
Got the sawmill - still working on getting the wife to give-in on the excavator! Love watching that machine work!!!
Sheetz are fantastic. Well organized and ran…. Everything the government isn’t. Campaign donations anyone !!
Wayne!😊
Oldman Fred. How you doing friend?? Long time no see.
@@waynebarnett7467
Doing better Wayne, hope to head home next month, been gone nearly a year and a half.
WOW, on that camera lens! I can definitely see why you bought it! New profession unlocked: wildlife photographer!
Good morning Morgan Family. I think removing the stumps is the best way to go. If you wanted to plant gardens back there, you're going to need some rototiller action at some point and running into large roots would ba a thing for sure. Keep doing what you're doing and we'll see you in the next one.
Morning Mike And Family , Everyone Enjoy Your Weekend and Prayers for All Effected By The Tornado's And Flooding In Other Parts Of The Country..
Feels good to watch a video finally after 2 weeks of vacation. Beautiful work on the clearing!
Good day Mike. Your Sony 200-600 Lens suggestions: Purchase and attach a 95mm UV filter ($150). Keeps moisture and dust, fingerprints off the end lens element. For hunting, you can add a cammo canvas collar to hide the white barrels. At minimum aperature, the focus can be tricky even with autofocus. For wildlife photography, the goal is to capture the eye of an animal or bird tack-sharp, while blowing out the focus on the background, (bokeh is a photograhic term that describes the background blurred out of focus). Shooting speed suggestion to keep the image sharp: take the focal length: let's say 600mm, then set your shutter speed should to at least 1/600. Have fun with wildlife photography.
Just a thought after you cleaned and wash the older grass cutter ,instead of selling why not take it to the new house,it might come in handy down there in and out between the trees.
Yea 😊
Good morning everyone
Good morning Morgan family!
I appreciate all the operator commentary, Mike. Probably my favorite. Have a great weekend!
Good morning everyone. Have a great day and weekend.
That clearing would be a awesome homesite for a cabin, you have the sawmill and logs to build it, move Levi up to the big house and he could walk to work it would also give at least 2 years worth of video footage for your channel.
Good Saturday morning Morgan family! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Hi Ted!
Good Morning from Montana 🌞- Have a Fantastic and Blessed Day 🤠
Thank you, very good instruction on stump removal! Agree about Sheetz. God bless you and your family!
Just shows how much you can accomplish if you do a little something every day. Looking great.
It takes time to do things. So taking your time is the best way. Less damage to most things. Looking good in the growing clearing.
I enjoy watching the clearing project come together. Glad yall are having some nice weather so you can get out and do stuff. Turkey season ends tomorrow so next weekend will be my start to getting stuff done at the farm. Stay safe everybody
I think you (Mike) will be happy in the long run doing a thorough job in getting all of the stumps out!
Mike’s favorite line, “I just have a few more trees to clear.”
Or a load of stone.
I’ve heard him say that a few times. And then as he makes more videos he keeps adding to the trees he wants removed. Pretty funny.
Mike if you have or come across an old piece of chain link fence maybe 20 feet long roll it up a bit more than half tie it and tow it around with the 4 wheeler the results are amazing on that soil no more bumps divots etc nice finish
That clearing and road look completely different with all the green. Just amazing. Howdy from Texas. Wettest spring in years down here.
The dramatic MUSIC toward the final minutes... was wonderful.. loved it
I'd plant whitetail clover in the clearing. Grows quickly and with a couple mowings each year will keep out the invasive weeds out
Just wondering how much rock you used in a year. I know you said you would post it, but I may have missed it. Thank you and keep up the great videos.
Remember ,before you started the clearing project , you said you were going to hire someone with a big excavator to dig out the big stumps. Glad you didn’t . I enjoy watching the mini finesse those big stumps out.
Sheetz is finally coming to Hendersonville NC. Looking forward to having a quality company nearby.
Good morning y'all !!! Hello from British Columbia, enjoy your weekend friends!
Good morning Mike.
The clearing is looking really good, hope you can burn soon and seed for grass ❤
Golf course supt here. Annual rye. Germinates in a week or less depending on moisture. Survives a year.
At the same time sew a turf type tall fescue. Fescue blends stand up to traffic, drought tolerant. A little fertilizer 2 times a year until it's really established. It will be perfect for pasture, or a soft ball field. Pretty sure it's not deer proof. They gobbled that winter rye when it was young.
It's pretty obvious I am a fan. Been watching since almost the beginning. The hook for me was Melissa doing the hard part and you ran that much smaller spliter. She was working harder supporting that wood spliter then most of my grounds crew work. I was amazed. And an instant fan. Oh yeah. Equipment is fundamental to our course's success. Horsepower is the answer to manpower. Your knowledge and experience and your thinking out loud approach makes it great to watch. Thanks
I enjoy your little. Review on your new lens for the camera.
Good Morning Morgans and everyone else from beautiful Prince Edward Island Canada 🇨🇦.
Almost went to work for Sheetz back in '85. They are truly a fine company. Absolutely loved the music @ the 30:00 mark.
The stump grinder would leave roots that would rot slowly and leave depressions. What you are doing will give you the field you are looking for, for the long term.
Mike, after you get the topsoil situated, it might be worth renting a York rake and dragging the area with it. Easy peasy.
Mike, looking extremely nice 👍 on the clearing also the road way to get there 😮😊❤
GOOOOOOOD
SATURDAY MORNING TO ALL
MY FELLOW OWTM’S FANS/FOLLOWERS!!….Mike is there a way to bring us inside the excavator with you? So we can see what your seeing as you dig out stumps & just working the machine. Nice video as usual.
Have a day
HELLOOOO Hunter 😊

Good morning Jack and all!

See Melissa, everybody will love the pictures from this new lens Mike said. It really is a good picture Melissa.
@Outdoors With The Morgans Dig a pit to put the burn pile in, AFTER you knock off the dirt from those stumps. This will not only make your fire lower and burn hotter, it will keep it contained and make clean-up easier.
Good morning from Stratford, Ontario. Beautiful day here as well. Enjoy!
Good morning George....I was in Stratford on Thursday....had a nice pickerel sandwich at Mercer's. Great food, excellent service. Originally from Goderich. Had a quick side trip and lunch with my sister before flying back home to Calgary. Have a great weekend! Steve in Calgary
Hi Hunter! Mike, I noticed that you parked the Stihl Zero Turn on the spot where Melissa wanted the pool. That was many episodes ago.
I really enjoy watching you using the different pieces of equipment. You have a nack for what you do. Stay safe and well. Keep them coming.
We love Sheetz!! I tell ya, their spicy chicken sandwich is the best out of any of the fast food joints, in my opinion of course. The variety of condiments and the price you can't beat.
Whitetail institute clover, mine is almost knee deep and big leaves to block out weeds, deer love it.
Looked like a super nice day. Your video quality is top notch.
It used to be, you had to provide your proof of residency, etc before you could get hired anywhere. Over the past several years, that has been forgotten.
and what was wrong with that? what has changed that makes background checks illegal or subject to Federal scrutiny?
I had about 300 stumps ground and when they rot you are left with a hole
GOOD DAY MIKE AND FAMILY FROM ONTARIO CANADA.PEACE BOBBY
Property looks great brother. Just finished mine and sitting on the porch with coffee, and watching the Morgan’s. I’m looking at a new Spartan mower. I have exmark, but want something with better ride. I am going to check out stihl as well
Good morning Mike. Great mower and even better telephoto lens. Hint, grab a monopod for it. May need it later on...
The little road looks good. I did get a bit anxious on the last narrow turn!
looks like it could with a bit more dirt
There is a certain amount "I got it now!" when you first see those stumps move. My littler KX121-3 just doesn't have the grunt that your 057 does. I enjoy your channel. Thanks.
It was another good informative video Mike. I’m going to rent a commercial stump grinder on tracks. The reason is an excavator would tear up my yard and it took a lot of work to landscape the front yard. I have 5 stumps in the front yard and at least 15 out back where I’m extending the yard. Thank goodness I bought a Kubota tractor with a grapple and other attachments which have saved a lot of work removing trees and brush. I enjoy watching your videos for tips and tricks. Thanks again and have a great weekend.
Good morning from Toronto, Canada!
Sure looks like you had a lovely day to be productive. We don’t get many sunny, cloudless days in western PA 😂
Good morning folks. Wishing all the very best. Thanks for sharing Mike.
You might want to saw the Maple stump I just did a video (Epic maple stump) and it was the prettiest wood we ever sawed at the sawmill
Them bigger channels that have camera people there quality went down hill you and diesel creek are my favorites
Do you also watch Letsdig18?
Creating your videos solo like you do really works. You are like a Producer, and you are great at camera, audio and editing. You don't really need anyone else. Great job as always.
I appreciate that!
Good morning Folks. Mike with your time spent on zero turnmowers. Mite you and Kubota do a comparison of their F series front runner mowers. Would be iannterestingmorning coffee and muffin video! Hope everyone has wonderful day! The wife and I are off to outside to pickup the over 40 piles of pine cones, needles and detach the wife has raked up.
Good morning Mike, as I watch you dig out stumps(I do land clearing as well) I wonder if a person used like a frost ripper to rip the roots out if that would work better? Anyways have a great and blessed day!
Very nice lens. Now to go up to Moraine and get pictures of the eagles and osprey. The waterfowl observation deck is another great spot at 422 and 528.
Welcome to the world of photography. There's no turning back now! It's another great excuse to get out in nature and away from the hustle and bustle. I sent you an email about your new setup. Keep up the good videos!
I read it thanks
Hi Mike. Glad you made it home I sure wish we could get back out west for a week or so. It’s been several years. As far as your video’s go, I like the way you do them and I think that a lot of You Tubers mess up their channel when they start hiring camera people and all that….
Also, not to geek out on you, but the photo at 1:44 is really cool for a random shot. You could do this around your projects and make a cool "life in the woodyard" coffee table photo book or just a section in the newsletter. 😁
Im in Florida we dont got sheets. Just started getting wawas about 10years ago. Wawas are taking over
Toss some clover in with your seed. Fast and thick, excellent ground cover, all the critters eat it, the mice, moles, and voles love it for cover.
Do one part with wild flower seeds to keep the bees around wouldn't hurt anything either.
Just a thought.
Then plow it all under and do 1 year of corn. By then bush hog the corn stalks, turn the soil and by then you should have a good idea what you think is the best use of the field, and the soil will be ready for anything!
Damn, you have that method down Sir! Had Mentor and friend who used to combine clover seed, he called it “Black Gold”! Rest in peace Earnie Wright.
Thanks, Mike. I enjoy the land clearing, having cleared several acres of my 20. The wildlife seems to have no issues with it either. We're lucky to not have (yet) that Stiltgrass, although I believe the Ash Borers may have arrived.
Mike, we have Wawa in my area, and they run a great operation similar to Sheetz. I suggest everyone who has a Sheetz in their area to patronize them even more now!
My option I would till all the clearing before seeding you have the equipment 👍👋🇨🇦
The clearing is looking great Mike. Get some nice feed grass growing and put that new 200-600 ? lens to work. You'll be selling ODWTM prints before you know it.
Good job! looking good!
Saturday g.morning. Glad you were thinking about the stiltgrass. Yard looks great
My suggestion would be buckwheat. My honey bees really love the blossoms. And the deer hammer it, it reseeds, itself blooms twice a summer.
It’s interesting watching you dig up stumps. I have some oak stumps that have been cut off when my house was built in 1996. They have rotted around so only the center is left. Since I don’t have any machines to dig them out I just have to wail for them to rot away which shouldn’t take more that another 20 years.
Mike, great video. Have you ever tried a Hardy Rake? It might work great on reconditioning your back 40. They do an awesome job getting land ready to seed. Thank you for sharing. Dave D. from Southern Maine.👍
Love how you Morgans do your videos ,excellent content and your family is awesome, love the channel. Keep it up !!!
Rake one way. Keep pulling the pile of roots etc. …one way good thing i told you to use a brush rake eh!! You wont remember. Of course
Good Saturday morning mike... enjoy your day...

Happy Caturday Pete 😸, raining over here in Mtl this morning
Hi Pete, Should be a very nice day today. Going to knock out some weed eating today.
Thanks, you too!
@badcat4707 morning BadCat, just cloudy here, hoping the rain stays away...
@@davidmorse8432Morning David.... cloudy one, will be firing up the zero turn today for the 1st time....
That Stihl looks like our Ferris zero turn
If you're in the market for seed for the clearing check out green cover seed - lots of videos on growing deer RUclips channel - awesome products...
'High Chaparral ' is the best of the western sound track, closing credits. Nice trip to Idaho.
Can you add some other seed to make a better food plot ? We were in Bavaria last summer the farmer rancher grew a mixed crop not just hay some flowers and short greens, it looked very rich and healthy.
Mike, when are you going to finish up the cabin in WV? I’m looking forward to the videos on that process.
Going down later this week
Good evening from Upstate South Carolina. Keep up the good work and videos. Have another productive day.
Just a thought
Take a stump, pressure wash the dirt off,
Sand blast the trunk and roots clean,
Flip it over to where the clean roots are the support for the table top,
Once "seasoned", stain, varnish, poly-coat, wharever.
Install base on the trunk end level obviously
Trip root ends to be flat for the glass table top or whatever material you choose
Trim root ends to match the diameter of the table top
Might be a money maker instead of fire pit fuel.
Mike this might sound stupid, but you being a blaster, is there a possibility you could dynamite the stumps that lay at the bottom of the hill? It would make for a great video, do it around the fourth of July. 🙂
Good morning to Hunter 👋👋😸 and family and friends 😸 Happy Caturday everyone 😸😺
Happy Caturday! 😸😼🐈

Good morning!
Mike, I don't normally Ed comments but totally totally enjoy watching you. Do what you do on the TV RUclips. I can't thank you enough. I have learned so much from you. And it finally dawned on me. One of the reasons I really like you in your channel. You remind me of Bruce Willis. You even talk like Bruce Willis, it's so cool. But anyway, regardless of that I really enjoy it. I love to watch your videos. Please keep doing just what you been doing. And we'll keep right on watching every day. Thanks, sir. Wish the best. You and your family and you'll be in my prayers
Mike, I understand your "internal clock" issue. When traveling coast to coast I found going west (with the sun) wasn't a problem. However, coming east (against the sun) I found, as you did, 3-4 days of a lingering effect. Small price to pay for the experience.
Going west you are basically just staying up a little later for the same time. Going East you are getting up early, which is a harder transition.
Nice clearing!
The clearing is looking very nice. Your nice weather is two or three weeks ahead of ours.
hi there just think what it took to get stumps out 100 years ago . my how things have changed , well done .best to all john
Good morning, Mike. All the rain u guys received it looks a little dusty. Sure is drying up out here in California. I live 4 hours north of Los Angeles in a valley. We have to irrigate.
Told you years ago Mike about the Ferris mower. I guess STIHL is made by Ferris.
I was surprised at how dry the ground was. Using that grapple as as a plow/scarifier/rake does a good job.
Agway sells Whitetail Institute premium trophy clover blend. I’ve used it before and it sends up a lush blend of about 5 different clover seeds. Good stuff. Far superior to rye grass in protein content and withstanding browsing pressure.
Happy day!
