Jeez, a full arrangement, a couple of days after you first heard the music? You truly are one of the best artists out there.

Someone made an arrangement of it less than a day after it came out, which is insane. I dont get how people do this stuff.

Some people (myself included) can hear some similarities between this theme and Skyward Sword (Ballad of the goddess, to be exact)
    Can you confirm?

I'd love to hear Hari's response to this question, but I do consider myself qualified to answer. I didn't play Skyward Sword (but I will when the new one releases, I'm a huge Zelda fan just got busy with life).
I'll say that there is a very common chord progression used historically in Zelda. In the key of D minor or Dorian mode (which was the key most songs were in from Ocarina of Time due to the 5 notes being D F A B D), the use of Bb Major 7 is extremely common. Very beautiful, and songs like the Song of Storms, the ending to most of the ocarina songs like Minuet of Forest or Serenade of Water all end Bb C D (usually flipping to major). Both Fi's theme and the Ballad of the Goddess use this chord heavily.
There's also use of D minor to G Major, which has a very D Dorian feel to it (because of b natural in G major chord). If you arent sure how it sounds, go to Serenade of Water. The chords are d minor to G Major, repeat. Then ends with the iconic Bb C D. (By the way that ending is also found in the original mario theme when you get the flag and in the original Zelda Title screen and overworld theme. Its everywhere in video games and was the focus of my music degree...)
Fi's Lament has d minor to G Major as the main motif.
Ballad of the goddess goes more like d minor, C major, F major and THEN G major but still gives the same vibe. (Then of course Bb C Bb C D again).
Thats all I can say in a medium length comment, but ask another question if you want more, I could talk about this stuff ALLLLL day. It's why I majored in music.

Oh and Midna's Lament from Twilight Princess uses d minor to G Major, melody notes a f e c b natural (d dorian)
Very similar Smash Bros Ultimate is in d Dorian and goes guess what... d minor to G Major (eventually Bb C d just like the others). Its amazing how they all sound so similar once you realize what chords they use. And I guess d minor is just a common key for Dorian. Certainly easier with no sharps or flats until you hit that Bb C D ending.

Sorry but I can't stop now hahaha
Smash Bros melee break the targets theme same d minor to G Major.
Stevie Wonder's Superstitious d minor to G Major
A link to the past Dark world theme d minor to G Major (then Bb C D)
      Many many examples.
      Thoughts Hari?

@@kevinarmes9804 Unfortunately, I do NOT have a degree in music :)
And as much as I HAVE learned notes years ago when I was trying to learn to play keyboard - most of your comment does not sound too instinctive to me :)
Can you maybe simplify it, showing which parts are definitely similar?

I think similarities can be heard because they are tonally very similar (i.e. both use similar scales and chord progressions), which Keven wonderfully described in his technical analysis. I’m not sure if there are intentional direct references to Skyward Sword, however, there is an indirect reference. The main melody of “Ballad of the Goddess” from Skyward Sword is actually “Zelda’s Lullaby” played in reverse and the last 3 notes in this trailer music are the first 3 notes of “Zelda’s Lullaby”.
