First switch was an gateron yellow the second was a combo of a novelkey cream and a everglide aqua king switch. Keycaps are crystal crown keycaps.

How to not thocc:
• Glass table top
• Cherry MX blues (Factory lubed which is none)
• Stock razer stabilisers
• No foams
• Plastic case and plate
• Do not flip the space bar
• The thinnest ABS keycap you can find
• Tray mounted

@@nox5634 I used my mechanical keyboard daily for 10 years and so far I dont think its even possible for there to be an issue. The technology is superior even for the cost. Just dont buy the overpriced ones.

i’ve modded 2 of my friends keyboards, one of them was an aluminium plate and aluminium case rk61, the other was a 3 piece fully polycarbonate wormier gamakay k66. i used shimmer pbt keycaps for the rk61 and cheap chinese pudding keycaps for the k66, and even put foam in the rk61 (i couldn’t fit any foam in the k66). despite the rk61 having better mods the gamakay still sounded way thockier.
i have no idea what any of that means.

A really good keyboard that sounds God dang good completely stock, is the akko pc75b plus (V2), I got this thing 3 days ago and it sounds emsmerizingly good. I did some mods but since the board has pe foam, silicone in the case, lubed stabilizers, high quality doubleshot pbt keycaps, all stock , the only thing I did was swap the switches with some lubed akko jelly blacks and took all of my own mods out again bc it sounds so dang good stock. Can't recommend it enough

how to actually thock with virtually any keyboard:
1. use a wood table
2. use polycarbonate plate
3. polyfill to reduce case ping while preserving thock
4. lube switches w/ gpl 205g0 or tribosys 3203 (gpl 203g0 is better if you are gamer)
5. tempest tape mod
6. double shot pbt keycaps
7. pe foam mod
8. stiff gaskets*

@@Spam0916 gpl 205 grade 0 is the official product designation of g205g0. Also keybored has on entire video on the acoustics engineering and physics of keyboards.
@@Spam0916 also lubing isnt the only mod for thocky keyboards. You can use multiple mods for compound effects. Tempest tape mod and pe foam mod are must have mods for thocky keyboard lovers

For extra o-ring the switches lube and replace the stabs with durock V2s silicone in the case syringe lube the stabs with dialectic greese BAND-AID mod your stabs and your good to go

you know why no deskmat is better? the keyboard itself is connected to the desk, making the keyboard heavier. The sound vibrates with the table better, thats why thocc isnt associated with quiteness, thocc doesn't need dampening from foam or clothe, a real solid hard thocc comes from heavy and flexible products.
I came for the thocc, I have left without sight
