- Gnawa music is a rich Moroccan repertoire of ancient African Islamic spiritual religious songs and rhythms. Its well-preserved heritage combines ritual poetry with traditional music and dancing. The music is performed at lila, entire communal nights of celebration dedicated to prayer and healing guided by the Gnawa maalem, or master musician, and their group of musicians and dancers. Though many of the influences that formed this music can be traced to sub-Saharan West-Africa, its traditional practice is concentrated in Morocco.
Traditional Music Channel is for everyone who has a passion for music.
Music is an expression of human creativity. UNESCO reports that among all the performing arts, music is the most universal and is found in every society, most often as an integral part of other performing art forms and other domains of intangible cultural heritage.
Traditional forms of music are considered carriers of cultural heritage because they represent expressions and traditions transferred through generations of a community.
With recordings from more than hundred nations our collection of traditional music offers a staggering diversity of our humanity.

Just got back from a tour grande through Morrocco. Morrocco suprised me, a lot of different landscapes, I fell in love. Loved the desert area the most. The Berber people are very friendly, charming and sweet talkers. Def go back soon. Salaam.

When I was a little child I saw images of Morocco and I knew I would travel there one day and eventually I did, that was over 20 years ago now. It is my favorite country I travelled too. The desert and mountains are beautiful the cities, villages are beautiful and the people are friendly. I would love to be able to live there for a time.
I love you morooco

Proud to be Amazigh (berber )
Amazigh means "free man "
The natives of North Africa
According to National geographic.
80 % of North Africans are Berber
Despite political system's propaganda. (Maghrib Arab)
We are proud to be Amazigh. Not Arabs or any other population.

hey i amtunisian and proud to be amazigh! this is what we are! azul wa la nazoul !
the term "Arab" doesn't necessary refer to the ethnicity, it is a broad term used to describe the inhabitants of the land where Arabic culture and language is dominant, so whether we are Amazigh, Syriac, Bedouin, Kurd, Copt, Yazidi, Turkmen, Shabak, Assyrian, Chaldean, Armenian, Turk, Mandean, Gypsy, Circassian, Druze, Solluba, Nubian, Somali we are all identified as Arabs, just like Tamils, Bengals,Telugu, Gujaratis and many others are all "Indians", the same thing with the terms, Chinese, Russians, Americans, Latinos, Aussies, Kiwis, Asians!

No
Mostly as it became a second language in the country ages ago and it got mixed up with the Moroccan darija as well as Spanish.
No, but you can feel like that.
When I travelled between the mountains in morocco I met nomads who were able to speak french but not arabic. Iwas very very suprised.
