I just became aware of this type of music and I think it is absolutely amazing!
Enjoy man🥰 ... these type of music who happened to sound like Jazz actually is from the same orgine as Jazz ... 3 centuries ago Morroco was a wide impire , taking from north west of Africa to the middel west of the continent , However bringing w him Islam to African troops (specially from Ghana wich cam the name of this type of music Gnawa ) who tooke the religions and start praying for islam in there way ( pretty much like african americans w cristianism in america ).
The lyrics are just like Jazz in black churchs say ''God is good God is big etc...''
As a black muslim moroccan i am so pround of my cultures and happy to share it w the world ☺😚.
