      You're welcome, if you ever come to Brazil(I live in Paraná) give me a message so you can visit our equestrian society of the state. I'm sure it doesn't come close to Europe but it's pretty nice haha I was competing there this weekend. Keep rocking

    That type of event looks like great fun!! I'd love to do one some day!!

    Marley Woolley This is part of the two day event. It's what they call a 'long format' event (like all the big ones used to be years ago). You do dressage and show jumping on day one, then the roads and tracks, steeplechase, roads and tracks, and cross country on day two.... needs a fit pony!

      Pigeon is so sweet and cute would love to have a horse like her someday but all I can find in my area is Gypsy cobs (badly treated ones)

      @Lottshorse... Endurance day at long form events (2 or 3 day) is generally:
      Phase A: Roads and Tracks
      (warm up for phase B)
      Phase B: Steeple Chase
      Phase C: Roads and Tracks
      (Cool down from Phase B)
      Vet Box to be cleared to go on to Phase D
      Phase D: XC
      In short form (most modern) eventing there is only XC.

    A Horse Called Pigeon
    Do you know how I can get my pony fit for these things. She has been of for 6weeks as I broke my shoulder. Tips would be appreciated. Many thanks

      jumping_oxers_xo xoxo Sorry to be slow to answer! Lots of canter (slow in the school) and gallop (fast out on different types of good ground) is what I do to keep and increase fitness. Hill work is great if you have hills near you. Or swimming or trotting through water are also very helpful. As with everything though you can't rush it as that will put too much pressure on your horse's body. I hope that helps :)

    U need to come
    To mk! A much longer steeple chase track and twice round! It's the last one in September! Did u get time faults?
    The ground looks awful... Elvis would have hated it!!! X

    • @anadin56
      @anadin56  10 лет назад

      The steeplechase got halved because of the ground (boo)... no time faults for phases A-C but lots in the cross country because of being stopped and my time being recorded incorrectly! xx

    where do you live? down here in suffolk were i live, there is a riding school called Poplar park, there is also a livery yard, it's a huge place with a proper cross country course and great hacking! a horse trials is held there every year, and they do loads of hunter trials. have a look on there website, you can also have a holiday there with your horse, the cross country course is one of the best, it has loads of xc jumps from small to huge, and the instructors there will give you a lesson, any time.

    On the roads and tracks and steeplechase how do you get penalties??

    • @anadin56
      @anadin56  9 лет назад

      Lottie Adams There are time limits for each section so you gt penalised for being too slow. Thanks for watching :)

    How come the vet was there?

    • @anadin56
      @anadin56  10 лет назад

      It's part of the long format. After the first day and the roads, tracks and steeplechase they check all the horses are fit enough to go onto the cross country phase.
