I’ll try to make a long story short. So over the summer I was dealing with some never before symptoms and it was scary shit to feel “fine” but just have absolutely no thrust/burst gear. The most frustrating thing for me were doctors saying it’s mental, which I’ve learned is their way of saying “I don’t have a clue!” I wouldn’t go to the doctors for something mental. I’m “better” now but still not back to 100% full physical faculties. Nowadays 1) I can eat regularly but I don’t get that distinct hunger craving anymore. 2) I can get aroused and get it up but the erections definitely aren’t what they used to, like I don’t have those raging/throbbing erections. 3) after working out after a long layoff I noticed I wasn’t getting that sexy burn feeling you’d normally feel the next day. So clearly whatever helps get those 3 things go in motion is clearly lacking, not being generated, or dare I say that it’s just flat out gone for good. Do those things sound dopamine related?

Regular zinc intake without Copper leads to Dopamine disregulation..zinc causss a Copper a balance or lowered Copper which then causes iron disregulation then iron overload whuch then directly lowers Dopamine .. copper regulates Iron and iron regulates Dopamine...so excess Zinc intake lowers Copper which leads to lower Dopamine...😊
But isn’t copper bound to ceruplasmin which is a protein, you need zinc for protein synthesis, so isn’t zinc needed to regulate copper? Also when taking zinc, if you take 50mg of a bioavailable zinc you’re only absorbing about 5% of it
@@BrokennessAndBeauty its easy to just note its crucial that the Zinc / Copper ratio has to be stable and the body knows exactly how to achieve this. With trace minerals its advised that a balanced trace mineral formula is taken rather than isolated nutrients such as Zinc or Copper. Zinc intake will reach a point eere Copper is lowered , as Copper is directly involved in Iron regulation , Red blood cell formation as well as Collagen production...important for men is when Copper is low, then Iron accumulates in internal organs and causes Anemia and Neutrapenia, which raises SHBG , when SHBG is higher then free or biological Testosterone is lowered leading to symptoms of low testosterone...yes long term Zinc is bad for mens testosterone and will have a shrinking effect on male reproductive organs due to excessive Iron disregulation and or Iron build up..all this damage to male health is because Zinc on a regular basis ultimately lowers Copper which leads to a domino effect and downward spiral of ill health... this can be avoided by taking a quality balanced mineral formula were all trace minerals are in balance and correct ratio.....more zinc does not mean more testosterone, it means Less !! Finally, supplements should not be taken on a daily basis, off and on is more effective 👌
@@Starchaser63 do you have a recommended supplement that includes all the trace minerals in balanced form? I’ve been taking oyster extract btw. I have used zinc in isolation but not sure if I should stop.
Hi I’ve been trying the gaps diet to heal histamine intolerance but I’m lacking dopamine very badly because of the histamine issues and the restrictions if gaps. Please could you give some kind of info on how to increase dopamine and not get too much glutamate or histamine?
I disagree with about half of your list of symptoms. Low dopamine does NOT cause "a lack of interest in life"! It divides interest into 'hyperfocus' (being fascinated or even completely obsessed with something of interest) or complete disinterest, (resulting in zero motivation). Depression results from the anxiety and guilt from being physically unable to motivate oneself to perform actions that do not offer instant reward, or the regret of acting impulsively. You can DEFINITELY experience pleasure, almost to the extreme. Much of what you mention can be better understood through the symptom "emotional dysregulation".
@@astridjaye6224 often the opposite is more true. ADHD tends to cause frequent uh... misfires of dopamine you could say? (For lack of a better way to phrase it) but it depends on the person. As someone with specifically a genetic dopamine deficiency it definately causes a lack of interest in life AND can cause you to hyperfocus in some things, though usually things that actually make you process dopamine at a regular or sometimes overindulgent levels. (I.e. video games for the former or drugs for the latter) But the biggest thing i could reccomend is finding WHERE the deficiency is happening. It could be so many different places. Parkinsons attacks your motor skills, schizophrenia your mental faculties, depression your motivation and sleep, etc. It manifests differently in everyone.
I think I have low dopamine but Also really law serotonin. Tyrosine and b vitamins make me agitated and panicky especially b12 and quality 5-htP akso make me anxious and agitated abs I take meds for anxiety that increase gaba but mess me up in long run though I can’t get off them:/

I may have low dopamine. After watching your video about thinkgs to be lab tested for such as Vit 12 deficience, Serotonin deficiency and Dopamine deficiency, I broght these to the attention of my psychiatrist. He said I don't have low Dopamine and that there's no way to test dopamine/serotonin levels in the brain. Maybe that was valid, I don't know; I have a lot to learn. But I take 5-HTP to help me sleep. It is helpful. In another video when addressing someone's comment about needing to combine 5-HTP with Tyrosine, you said it wasn't necessary. But I wonder if it could help me. But I also take SAM-e and I don't know the interaction effects of SAM-e and Tyrosine, as I would need to take them in overlapping fashion as I build up to 1600mg of SAM-e, currently at 1200mg/day. I was on antidepressants but couldn't tolerate their side effects. and while SAM-e is a much more expensive route, I'm not experiencing any of nasty side effects associated with SSRI's or SNRI's. Do you think that SAM-e at the does I'm aiming for, 1600mg/day, is sufficient to restore my dopamine levels even while taking 5-HTP for sleep assistance or should I take Tyrosine also because I take 200mg of 5-HTP, which reduces dopamine levels, to help me sleep? Again many thanks!

Yes.
What about increased dopamine symptoms,?
How to decrease?

Seretonin deficiency also causes depression.....then how can it be decided what is causing depression where symptoms of seretonin and dopamine deficiency is same?...why doctors prefer to prescribe SSRI,the seretonin boosting drugs which may decrease dopamine?

Good information.i have a book By dr Eric braverman called the edge effect.where he talks about balancing four main brain chemicals being dopamine, acetylcholine, gaba, and serotonin.please talk about the three other main brain chemicals.please also talk about other brain chemicals from a book called the mood cure by Julia Ross being catecholamines, and endorphins.by the way I like the length of your video.if the video is very long most people would not watch it at all,eg like over 40 minutes.thanks again

Is this related to mast cell activation ? Or just general histamine intolerance symptoms like skin rashes etc ?

L tyrosine decrease dopamine receptors?
Sounds to me like ADHD symptoms, with inability to regulate and direct attention, impulsivity, and emotional disregulation.
I think Adhd folks tend to have low dopamine
@@astridjaye6224 often the opposite is more true. ADHD tends to cause frequent uh... misfires of dopamine you could say? (For lack of a better way to phrase it) but it depends on the person.
As someone with specifically a genetic dopamine deficiency it definately causes a lack of interest in life AND can cause you to hyperfocus in some things, though usually things that actually make you process dopamine at a regular or sometimes overindulgent levels. (I.e. video games for the former or drugs for the latter)
But the biggest thing i could reccomend is finding WHERE the deficiency is happening. It could be so many different places. Parkinsons attacks your motor skills, schizophrenia your mental faculties, depression your motivation and sleep, etc. It manifests differently in everyone.
Wow that makes so much sense!
@@clayrock78 yeah.
I think I have low dopamine but Also really law serotonin. Tyrosine and b vitamins make me agitated and panicky especially b12 and quality 5-htP akso make me anxious and agitated abs I take meds for anxiety that increase gaba but mess me up in long run though I can’t get off them:/

Can low dopamine cause u severe anxiety and depression enoughth to have intrusive suicidal thoughts
I think it's possible but it's not the only reason
It could be low serotonin. Could have low dopamine too and low gaba or maybe all 3 it’s hard to say. ka most sounds more like low serotonin , I get this too very badly all three things you mentioned and bad insomnia but ssri give me bad side effects even though some benefit. The meds that work on dopamine make me even more anxious.
I dunno if it’s because I have both dopamine deficiency and hsp (high sensitivity personality) but yes, I started cutting myself at 13 and it’s so addictive I made sure I stopped before it became a addiction

The symptoms look like I may be having low dopamine levels.
But unable to know wether it's due to insensitivity of brain to dopamine, or lack of dopamine, because I don't have any addiction.May be it is due to the later one, the lack of dopamine. But I was healthy doing jogging, lifting weights and yoga eating healthy food, why did that happen to me😕

Dark Chocolate helps bring up your dopamine as well.
@@bernieclips9003 Only because it contains Phenylalanine, the precursor to Tyrosine.
Better to supplement with L-tyrosine directly rather than eat chocolate with all the sugar etc
Hi my questions about L-tyrosine do they help with bad depression and anxiety, have good concentration also I read that it helps with libido and sexual problems which I get from antidepressants, I've taken some amino acids before can't remember which 1 or 2 it was years ago but they brought me out in acne all over until I stopped and made me sweat bad also gave me anxiety, I'm hoping this one don't as I've read that it does great things, I would love this to do the thing's I mentioned, I will give it ago but hoping for some reply's first, also can anyone tell me the best brand and what MG to take, with or without meals roughly what time to take it, how long you have to take it for before you notice any improvements (I know we are all different but a rough guide) and any side effects, especially if it has libido or skin issues, sweat etc I would love to hear your replies as I would love to ditch horrible antidepressant's, I live in the UK so hopefully somewhere I can buy them from in the UK so the shipping is not so bad, I do actually have some at home the brand is called Supplemented I bought them on impulse they were cheap from Amazon so I don't want to start on a brand that is maybe not great and lose interest if I don't feel much, or maybe they are a decent brand I really don't know I just get confused with it all, can you take it for as long as you like?
Thanks for your time,
Regards
Ricky
