I made your star card for my granddaugher's 21st birthday and I put baby pictures of her on the pages. She and my daughter teard up. They absolutly loved it. I know what you mean by the joy you get when they are wowed by what we make. Thank you!!! and glad to have you back!
Thank you so very much, Sue! I'm sure she'll be thrilled. The purple one is for my daughter's birthday today. I'm personalising it for her. Enjoy this project!
Another beautiful card Jan. As soon as I saw you had posted a new video, I settled down with a cup of tea to watch. Always look forward to a Jan B video x
I would like to say thank you very much for your videos. I struggle getting measurements, it today I have written them down from your blog and succeeded with first attempt. I prefer centimetres, but understand this may take you a lot of precious time to aid others. Thank you again. Jan Adams
Many thanks for your very kind words, Jan. It's not much of an effort now that I'm in the swing of metric measurements and it has given me a rough idea of how to convert easy centimetres into inches in my personal life. xx
love your tutorials..such beautiful cards and love your calming voice..you remind me of my grandma jan..thanku so much for a lovely card and tutorial xxx
This is a SPECTACULAR card, sure to wow the recipient! I was looking for a fancy fold card to make a birthday card for a family member, and this is it. I love listening to your voice, it is so soothing. Thank you for sharing.
Lovely card! Thank you for sharing your ideas with the world. If I lived across the pond, I would definitely take classes from you. I have used the tomboy that comes in the blue bottle. It is a clear glue that I find is thicker than the white. I don't like it as well. Like you, I use tomboy most of the time.
I love this combination of two special card folds. It makes it even more special. You make it look so easy to do. I am going to make it for my Mum's 94th in May.
Love this album card Jan, fantastic colours and something a bit different is always very welcome, great bow tieing l always end up fingers and thumbs everywhere with a mess in the middle, maybe something to do with being left handed and try to do the opposite way
Absolutely stunning creation Jan.. as always your attention to detail is amazing.. your cards are always above and beyond.. thanks so much fun sharing Jan..
It is a very nice card. I preferred the brighter colour. For me I would have used a brighter ribbon instead of white to bring out the card. I am going to make the brighter card
Many thanks, Annabella. Yes, I agree, I would have preferred coloured ribbons but I just don't have the patience to colour white ribbon and wait for it to dry. Now if I was more organised, I would prepare ahead of times but, alas, I'm not! xx
Love this card and I also watched one of your other fancy fold cards! Thanks so much for sharing your creative talent. Blessings and Hugs from Canada! Stay safe!
Jan, you have out done yourself again! Absolutely beautiful card and I will be giving this one a try! You are an amazing talented person! Thank you for sharing your talent with us! ❤❤❤
Thank you for your reply, i think it was my mistake but everything has worked out beautifully, and i am very pleased with the result. Thank you so much for your tutorial, i am waiting on some new material and will be making mire.

Beautiful card, Jan! Adding to my list to try! I love your versions of the bookbinding folds. Love the Very Versailles stamp set, I'm never getting rid of it. I remember when you used tear n tape all the time, I learned how to use it from you. 🙂 Now, I use liquid glue most of the time, too, but I've sure learned a lot from you! 🐞 ~Kimy
Many thanks for your very kind words, Kimy. I'm always aware that there are new people taking up cardmaking as a hobby everyday, and whilst I prefer Tombow, occasionally I switch to tape as an alternative because some crafters may prefer that method. xx
Oh Jan, such a lovely card! Am going to add to list to make. Wonderful color combinations and book style design is one of my favorites! Thank you so much for sharing! Ordered the T ruler. Yay! Hugs and have a blessed day!
Another fantastic card I am always looking forward to Sunday here in Australia to see your videos I you and your family are all safe and well as I am here. This one looks a bit tricky but I will give it a try, have you ever made a card shaped like a piano I see them on Pinterest but I haven’t found one with the instructions,if you could let me know if you have one.
Thank you so much, Winifred! Although I've seen video cards on Pinterest, I don't recall ever seeing a video. No promises but I will keep a lookout. xx
Many thanks, Lyn. I'm sorry to hear you had a bit left over. Not knowing what card size you were making not what actually happened, I can't offer any suggestions. But I am pleased the extra left you in the position where you could cut it off and complete your card! xx
Many thanks, Wendy. Yes, I understand that. You could always do say, the top and bottom line the same DSP and the middle line something different and then just add a sentiment. Or maybe the top row in red, middle line white and third line blue. If you're not in the US nor the UK and these aren't the colour of your national flag, just substitute them. Hope this helps. xx
That is a beautiful beautiful card you did an excellent job. I also know that you're in Ukraine and I'm hoping and praying that all is well with you and your family during this turmoil it's times like this I wish I could help but I don't know what to do besides pray

I prefer Tombow Aqua (blue packaging) glue. Can't say exactly why but never got into the 'green' choice :-) :-).
Hi, Anji. I've heard about the blur Tombow but have never seen it on sale here in the UK. xx
