    Incredible! This proves that those old AMT kits can be built to perfection, they just need a master model builder like you to build them. Now I know what quality to strive for, no excuses.

    AMT kits are not particularly my favorite because they rarely fit together well. I think you did an amazing job! Brilliant work on all the details.

    Another brilliant video, Mr Lin! Mr LIn, please remember you were thinking about making an airbrush and paint mixing tutorial video for us less experienced modellers. I would love to learn more about your technique and I am sure I am not alone. For example, I'd love to know the difference in lacquer to thinner ratio for your dry and wet coats and any difference in brush distance and compressor PSI. Your dry coats are wetter than my wet coats for example, but your models look a million times better than mine.

      thank you for you comment😊I will try to make a video about how I mix my paint and how I paint it, also I will show my equipment.
      As for the ratio of dilution and the pressure and distance of spraying.. In fact, there are no certain rules..try it a few times and you'll find what works best for you..
      happy modeling and have a good day!!

I recieved the white, but there is no difference about the massive gaps😂 there's a lot of work to do but i enjoy this kit. After all your skills are awesome and your Mustang looks extremly impressive. I am very inspired and take a few ideas to mine. Thanks for sharing it. Maybe you try the Monogram Dodge Super Bee Six Pack next. That will be my next after this.😉 So stay save and keep going, i love your way and i am always inspired. Greets from Germany.😎

    Excellent job, it took me 3 years, to do my 1967 Shelby, I used "flocking", for carpet, REAL machined spark plugs, EXACT, firing order, of spark plugs, photo etched decals, how come you did not use, BARE METAL FOIL< it is so easy to apply, instead of using all that time to mask and spray the chrome?

    • @MRLINSSCALEMODELING
      @MRLINSSCALEMODELING  Год назад +4

      hi,thank you..😊
      I used to use BMF before..somehow I found that it always has small wrinkles that I can't handle,especially around the corner..and the surface is not always smooth..maybe it's just my technique is not good enough😅
      masking and painting chrome is relatively easy for me..
      about the interior and engine..I don't care too much..
      I like to spend my time painting the bodywork..
      anyway.. this is just my production habit and opinion..
      thank you for your comment again!!😄
      cheers!!

    I'm currently building this same model. I noticed you removed the factory chrome from some pieces. How? Amazing detail! My hands are not stable enough to match what you do. What masking tape is that you are using? Great job!

      @MRLINSSCALEMODELING  11 месяцев назад +1

      thank you,I remove the chrome with bleach water ,sometimes you need some lacquer thinner after bleach water,be careful,test with unnecessary parts first.
      I use Mr.hobby and TAMIYA masking tape,they are very good!!
      have a nice day!!😊

    Hi,
    I am also writing to you here because I was unable to use auto clear finisher's. I had a lot of orange peel. Can you tell me how and with what you dilute it, what nozzle and pressure do you use? Your airbrush looks like a harder & steenbeck, right? You are very good at painting!

    • @MRLINSSCALEMODELING
      @MRLINSSCALEMODELING  Год назад

      hi, the thinning ratio about clear and thinner is about1:2 to 1:3,I use H&S 0.4mm air brush, the airpresure is about 20-25 psi..keep your airbrush moving, if you hold on a spot ,it might cause paint flooding..
      Before spraying the next layer of paint, make sure the previous layer of paint is dry..
      It takes practice.. Once you get used to it it's not that hard
      thank you and have a nice day!!
