Pyroplume was awesome, I'd say. The idea of a pheonix being reborn from its ashes and getting tougher every time is not only awesome, folklore states that typical pheonixes actually do that.
Friendly Reminder: Clutch is now an official boss, in fact, he always has been. Clutch was a supposedly scrapped boss that wasn't implemented in the game up until 1.7.8.
I feel like a lot of modders want to make sure that their bosses are memorable and because of that it leads to a stupid amount of difficulty for a binding of Isaac boss due to people wanting to give their bosses the same feeling as a final boss would have
well said. i barely remeber all of these bosses because of how dumb they are in terms of just "spam fire, spam lazers, spam ceiling rocks" while having no substance or gimmick behind them besides being horiffically unbalanced. Ironically enough, i remember a good chunk of Repentance's new added bosses and Fiend Folio's modded additions because they dont rely on bashing you over the head with "LOOK AT HOW COOL AND OP I AM RAAAAH" and are actually fun bosses with gimmicks and balanced attacks
thank you for including my boss variants (lethal cum injection here)! you did a fantastic job showcasing them and all the other awesome bosses made by the community. i'm aware my boss balance definitely leans into unhinged cruelty, so thanks for putting up with it anyway
- summoner could have less health given how hard it is to get to it without piercing - not sure what reasoning there was for the rag mega alternative to have health-draining attacks and also a regular high-end health pool - watcher looked underpowered tbh, long stretches where it just went around making creep - puppeteer final stage producing several swarms of those little yellow spiders at once looks just disgustingly hard to dodge, as does possessed adversary's new, even more tracking brim that said, to be positive, the puppeteer's different character imitations were interesting and Cuerzor's bosses translated Touhou into the Isaac aesthetic and tone skillfully and cleanly (assuming that was the intent? maybe I was reading into it too much because the Cuerzor section started with such a clear Kogasa insert)
your mod boss is so cool! fair attack pattern, dodge able, good sprite and vanilla like (boss looking vanilla or not it's not big deal for me as long as their attack is creative and dodge able) looking forward more boss mod from you! :)
and this is feedback from me of your boss The Wave Dancer - all her attack are fine and well done now from my point. :) The Watcher - this one also ok. but it'd be better if their sprite got improve. The Puppetier - puppet flying a bit too fast. - every puppet got their unique attack (i try to show them all but it's just spawn the same puppet.. maybe you can improve that by make it only spawn one time for each. then loop) - white mask (phase 2) falling is a bit too fast should be slower also their attack (purple flame and bullet) speed should be slower. - phase 3 is okay now :) Pyre - in yellow attack i think red flame should go slower then orange because it'll give more chance for player to dodge that. Monstone - good job! :) (but if their sprite in stone form and portrait got improve it would be perfect) Hangerdile - All attack are well done now - you can improve their sprite to make it better! :) The Damned Twins - flame attack are a bit too fast ( like in 31:04 ) - flame that shoot around him should be a bit slower like in 31:24 that's all of my feedback, you don't need to change all of that as i said it's just my opinion after all.. ..and i love the wave dancer and monstone the most if you ask! :)
this game needs more cute stuff like wave dancer, it's a nice change of pace from gore and feces, and it'll make you wonder just how something managed to stay relatively pure in this hellish environment
My opinion: Splash=meh,Just meh Drowned cage,abysal one,mega rag,the adversary:they already Fine on the floor and balances they have,stop using them on other floors because its boring or annoying. Wave dancer:i think its too much rain maker,and also looks pretty annoying to do the patterns. The watcher:i dont like the artstyle,and the random brimstone shot looks Impossible to dodge. Puppetier:i think its pretty good Boss(except third phase,delete It and its good),maybe the main creature artstyle doesnt fit the game but its a pretty creative one. Pyre:finally,more skeleton bosses to ashpit,i think its pretty fine for the floor(being a broken as fuck floor) Rotten Devil:its Just a mega man reference,pretty unbalanced and too hard,but the original is also unfair and pretty hard,so i think its fine Necrocyst:i think It jump speed and size should be the difference already on this boss,dont need to shoot more things when it jump. Already having small arena and being this fast,its broken. Mostone:artstyle doesnt fit,would be a good monstro clone boss for the floor...If It didnt had the last form. molten Fred:make no sense a harder fred being on a floor 5 floors above a floor the normal mr.fred could spawn(womb),and its cursed a fred to move from its spot. I think If he still continued on the same spot,and Just get more fast on the second form would be better. Hangerdile:remove the fast poops,and reduce the amount of tears coming from when its just sliding below the water and maybe would be balanced,i like the feeling of the Boss. gutso the great:i like the artstyle and the use of enemies from this boss(literally no boss i remember using brains as summonables),Just need to remove the random jumps shots and It would be cool. damned twins:its Just 2 diferent dark esaus,i think its fine,i Just dont like. Clutch:its already on the game now,so...next. Mancer:for me its Just a meme,its now a harder bloat! But I feel It needed to have a bloat equivalent between alt path so its Fine. Tainted famine,war,death:i think its really Nice,Just death maybe is a bit too hard even for mausoleum. The person who made the mausoleum adversary mod succeeded in making the adversary more annoying than normal adversary

mega rag literally has ground spikes that can telefrag you if you do not have flight and is overall hard af
