I can't believe that ktn did this documentary. This is very unfortunate. In other words, you are telling hard working women that what they are doing is not right, without giving them an alternative. How can glowing miraa is wrong, whereas those farming tobacco are okay?
Journalism should be about reporting what is on the ground not pushing certain narratives.

Its not good business but they dnt have any other option..its high time the county government plus National government to assist these people to create jobs to change their lives.

Is there market demand for Goji Berries where they live? Are there middlemen who want to buy it locally and deliver it to the markets that are willing to pay that high price? Do they have the skills or opportunities to seek out those markets?
Everyone looks less than clever when you live in the first world with mature social support systems and low unemployment. We forget that what separates us from these people who suffer is the difference in opportunity and not our own superiority. Why do you think they are not clever? Do you think you would survive in their environment with your "cleverness?"

I AM ONLY TELLING YOU goji berry is a super food... i am only pointing out to you that some one someday will grow goji in kenyan and export or manufacture lots of products from it. i am going to kenya next week an i am bringing the seeds to an oragani healer in thikka for her people to start growing them... i grow them here in irelan but i think kenya would be much better..
