Whats up everyone! I was blessed with the opportunity to ride a Ninja 400 for the first time and I wanted to see what all the hype is about.
If you are a beginner rider and are confused on whether you should get a Ninja 650 or a Ninja 400 please watch this video! I have a Ninja 650 and in this video i go through and explain the main differences between the two bikes. If youre curious and cant watch, heres a quick tip: both bikes are amazing, you wont be disappointed no matter which one you pick. Safe riding yall!
Amazing video! the only thing i have to say is that the ninja 400 as the name says has only 399 ccm (33.4 kW) whereas the ninja 650 has 649 ccm (50.2 kW) so of course the 650 is gonna be faster and better on the highway in general. still a good video.
100%! The 650 is also technically a “sport touring” bike so it’s designed to be more comfortable/better on highways
I had a 300, almost got the new base model 500 (really 451cc) but ended up getting a used 650 with ABS for a lot less $, I love it. They are all great bikes though.
650 is a great bike!

@@NinjaNeb75 Awesome, thank you!
12:13 I wasnt expecting the bike to take off like that lol Ive been trying to decide between a N400 and ZX4RR for a few weeks now and was siding with the 4RR for a couple of reasons, but after doing more research and careful cosideration 12:13 and this clip right here showing me the potential of the bike bone stock I can only imagine what itll be like on a N400 with a full exhaust, stacks, air filter, etc. and that was also the main thing for me, I wanted my first bike to be usable as a beginner and moddable for increased power so I'm not buying a more powerful bike after a few years riding. If a modded N400 can run with stock 600s 650s there would be no reason to change bikes imo, and you Save Money Live Better WALMART (insert RS Rapper meme)..... but seriously ty Neb for the video and giving your opinion on the bike🙏🏾
Also I'm aware the N400 with mods MIGHT not compete with 600cc bikes but I can dream lmfaoo
If you’re looking for a beginner bike the N400 is affordable, moddable and does everything you really need it to. I will say tho, any of those mods will make the bike smoother and add a bit of horsepower but it’s not going to be night and day. Will it keep up with big bikes? Probably not but it will be a torque machine and probably torch them in twisties and city settings.
If you want something that will be a night and day experience after mods I say get the zx4rr it’s versatile and has that inline 4 which sounds good and produces a lot more power. Is the 4RR worth the price tag? In my opinion hell no but it just depends on what you’re looking for. You can get an N400 throw it around for a year or two then upgrade to a big bike. May not be the case with the 4RR price tag
@@NinjaNeb75 Definitely sticking with the N400 than... Originally I was going to get the zx4rr but what shyd me away from it besides a 10k price tag was the difference in weight the N400 is about 48.5lbs lighter and idk if it would make a difference but to me as a beginner it made sense learning to lean while turning on something lighter and possibly more manageable as a beginner and I appreciate you giving me your insight and opinion on my thoughts though. It definitely helped me decide what I'm gonna do moving forward might skip the 4rr and go straight to a zx6r/R6 after I get comfortable on the N400. Greatly appreciated...🙏🏾
@@tipeshii enjoy it bro!! The 400 is everything you need. I’m on a zx6r now and trust me starting on something small and moving up is the best way to do it
@@NinjaNeb75 Can't wait to get and mod thebike now lol, I'm getting the Blizzard Pearl White beautiful color scheme bouta have of the cleanest N400s in my town frfr.
You're the GOAT fr
123 subs only? I hope u grow in yt bro, great content!!
Keep it up! 😉
Thank you bro!! That means a lot to me. I’m going to keep myself accountable and post on here more often
I'd take the 400. Less torque but way higher rev ceiling, lower weight, better agility and gas mileage. Same top speed despite the big difference in engine size. Cheaper to buy and cheaper maintenance too.
Fair enough. For a starter bike I think the 400 makes sense, but I can see someone getting a 650 and not needing an upgrade for a while. Really can’t go wrong with both
@@NinjaNeb75 lol 400 and 650 don't have the same top speed I eat my friend's 400.. 400 = 116mph, 650 I get 132mph..
So yes, less torque, higher revs (mayb?), better agility lol I had a 300 and the 650 is the same, super easy and lightweight compared to a Ninja 1000.
Do your research properly and stay on your 400 lol.
@@MrLove-666 in the video I got my friends bike up to 120 something and he has gotten it to 130. Shocked me fr cus I kept thinking well damn what’s the point of a 650 if the 400 gets up there. It just takes much longer to get to that speed. Your friend needs to pin that mf 😂
I have my 650 for 8 years, and it calms me down (I'm a speed junkie)
My friend has a 400, she's happy with it (cause she's cheap and don't want to may more insurance and plates lol)
Even with the new 4RR, I'd say 650 or ZX6R all the way. It's not the biggies so beginners if they aren't dumb and don't try to do stupid shit off the bat, will be okay and then won't have to sell theirs if they want to, compared to 300-400 that lots changed lol
@@MrLove-666 well said! I started on a 650, absolutely loved that bike may it RIP. And now I have a Zx6r and honestly if I hadn’t dumped my 650 I would’ve kept it for a long long time
Get a 400 or 500 or if you in money problems maybe a 300
The 400 / 500 is basically already the 650 there's not enough difference
@@lIlIllIlIllIlllIllIIIIIIIIIlII yep!
How bad is the wind on the highway with the 400 being so light compared to the 650
@@Gerb3k about the same tbh. The 650 just glided a bit more in my opinion. More torque and weight also makes it feel a bit more stable but all that is minor
Any headphones I can use under helmet for music
@@Frostb1te1995 I’ve been using AirPod pros since I started riding.
@@NinjaNeb75 thank you
In the thumb nail that 650 had inverted forks....thats a 2k upgrade
I miss my g35

Great video. Yep....
