While there technically isn't one country called "Korea" officially, we basically use "Korea" as just a shorter, informal way to refer to South Korea simply because it's the country we solely do business with. North Korea is such an isolated and poor country to the point where it doesn't really make as much sense to refer to them when using the word "Korea".
