It’s really time to stop this, these tourists have no respect for the fact they have a job to do, these are soldiers and the horses!
I worry about them all going for the horses' mouths. Who know what nefarious thing they might have? These are magnificent animals, and the men and women who mount them could be put in danger, also, if there is a substance that causes immediate harm, let alone the innocent people with young children visiting.

Agree 100%. They should have a mandatory, restricted, roped off area in front of the horses. The tourists could safely take pictures from a distance. People who don't know horses sadly have no fear and don't know how damaging a bite can be.

I think the tour guides for some of these groups need to have a serious word with them on etiquette when in front of horse guards, it’s ridiculous how many still insist in touching the reins or the guard

Hate to rain on yr parade but this IS for show. It IS for the British people & the visitors from around the world. The training level is set to a high standard. The working conditions r what they r for the lifeguards. The horses have a ONE HOUR time slot to be w the tourists. Most of the time, people are lined up for a picture and no problem. The team of horse & man also get to walk around to the inside of the fence & back into the arched area losely posing for pix. Some horses see a friend & enjoy the scratches, touching & maybe even a little sweet😊. Quite often, I've seen people that the horse is very interested in and it will attempt to nuzzle someone. Usually a female. Always someone w a disability. My heart melts. And the jerks... they r jerks everywhere... in any country, any city, any workplace. Irritating and completely selfish. If they step on yr toes, call them out. That's exactly what the guard does & it works well against that person. It helps when supervisors or fellow guards get right out there to reassure the horse, calm it if needed, while the stupid jerk gets an extremely in yr face, shouting rebuke. Impressive. Also we always enjoy when a jerk gets told off!!!! We love complaining abt them to others. I do notice that much parenting has gone downhill. In general, today's children r spoiled, have expensive toys, head in their cell phones or tablets, r not TAUGHT to be well-mannered, are not considerate of others.
P.S. out in public like this 1 hr a week for the horses

Astonishing the amount of tourists in London. It's heaving. Used to be busy in just the summer months and maybe some over to see the New Year Fireworks but now it's just crazy. You have seen how packed that pavement and quadrangle gets and it's the same at Buckingham Palace and Tower of London and other tourist hotspots. Must be cheap air travel.

Unfortunately, because it's tolerated, and has been for too long. The tourists are allowed to kiss, hug, and rub their hands all over the faces, noses, and mouths of these horses! Some have even been allowed to give them treats. Then you have those that sprawl their bodies all over the horse and guard. Not all guards will use their boot to give these rude people the boot! I love the ones that do, such as this guard!

They do, there are police monitoring the crowd constantly. Security is much higher than it appears. People who go too far or look like troublemakers are followed into the crowd by police officers and sometimes receive a police caution and even arrested.

Seems like the would be " influencers " were out in force.
I saw a comment on another video awhile back that mentioned maybe a bigger sign that says "Horses may bite and do not touch reins". I doubt that a bigger sign would make a bit of difference. People will be people. They see signs and convince themselves it doesn't mean them or that the sign is there to make it look dangerous and/or there was an empty space to fill. They don't think the guards will do anything anyway and so they push the set boundry.
A bigger sign won't mean everyone can suddenly read English.

Why aren't the Horse Guards allowed to warn them off any more? They are the King's soldiers and should be able to tell them to stand down. The fellows in the courtyard certainly boss everyone around. The Guards should be able to tell people to back off, as they used to be able. That man grabbed the leg of a serving member of the King's Army. He should have been allowed to scare the bejesus out of him for that. You do not disrespect the King's Guards or any member of the UK military in uniform and doing duty. It looks weak. They holler at the people in the courtyard, but put these soldiers and war horses out in front of the general public and tourists and allow disrespect. Change the rules back!!!! I loved when the horse would stamp and the Guard would yell, and that is what a lot of these clueless people need. These are active military soldier, not pushovers. Many of the visitors have no idea, clearly, of the power of a horse of that size, or any horse.

It takes a lot to make the world go round and sadly it would appear this lady has issues. No harm done, no shouting involved. I understand this ceremonial display is a tourist attraction but these are serving soldiers and I often worry about their safety. Given the location it would be difficult though to place a barrier of sorts to prevent the public getting so close.

Hello from Spain, if somebody sees something they think could be wrong, they should tell the guard, but under NO circumstances should they bring it upon themselves to sort it out themselves. When is something going to be done about the 'Sheep' being allowed to touch either the working men and women, and definitely not the animals which are also working. It's like the bosses are too afraid they will be made out to be 'not public spirited' that they still allowing basically the men, women and animals to be accosted and abused every day. If this happened to a member of the public, it would be a police matter, but why is it allowed for working guards. The police wouldn't allow it to happen to themselves. Maybe the bosses should watch some of these videos and read the comments.
