If I understand correctly, the difference in dmg formula is between combo dmg and smite dmg. Smite dmg has a dmg formula like skill dmg, but instead of modding for skill dmg it is modified with bonuses for normal dmg. Combo dmg has the classic dmg formula that white numbers have, so it's a classic attack, without a counterattack. Am I understanding this correctly? This led to the opinion that the combo regenerates rage, which is now questionable.
no, all types of dmg are calculated in the same logic. Regardless of atk/def/health on both sides, Normal atk = 200 * (100% + normal atk bonus - enemy normal atk taken reduction) * (100% + normal atk boost - enemy normal atk resistance) Counter atk = 200 * (100% + normal atk bonus - enemy normal atk taken reduction + counter atk bonus - enemy counter atk taken reduction) * (100% + normal atk boost - enemy normal atk resistance) Smite dmg = factor * (100% + normal atk bonus - enemy normal atk taken reduction + smite dmg bonus) * (100% + normal atk boost - enemy normal atk resistance) Combo dmg = factor * (100% + normal atk bonus - enemy normal atk taken reduction + combo atk bonus) * (100% + normal atk boost - enemy normal atk resistance + combo atk boost - enemy combo atk resistance). it does but the problem is time window probably doesn't match as Attila ULT only last 4s, most of case it won't land on next Arthur ULT. But meanwhile all the normal atk and random combo atk will be boosted as well
