In 1969 I lived in Fremont California, a nice growing city. I attended Jr. High School. Before the school year was done, three girls at our school were pregnant. It was not unusual for young girls to marry that young 70 years ago in Rural areas of the country. That's why Jerry could forge her daddy's signature. She could have legally married him at 15 during that time. Without parents consent in Tennessee. Massachusetts you can marry at 12 years old with parents consent today.
