I can confirm this video describes the installation process 100%. Yes, left side bolt wasn't easy to remove so I used a medium sized screwdriver to push the bolt out after the nut was removed. If you're about to install this kit make sure your exhaust is cold!!! You'll have to work in the area immediately behind the exhaust header.
Try to get the nut back on by spinning the bolt clockwise while holding the nut at the end. Once the nut is all the way back on, try to hold it in place so it doesn't back out when you turn the bolt counter clockwise. Hopefully this will allow the bolt to back out just a bit. Then you can push it out the rest of the way with something (I used the hex key) while turning the bolt counter clockwise simultaneously. Understand this means the bolt probably won't line up perfectly when you go to put it back in and you will have to do some pushing/pulling to get things to line up. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

Mine never came with any extra botls? So the factory bolts won't work?
so its should fit on a z650rs? should have the same frame work right?
What size is that nut that comes with the frame sliders?
I can’t seem to get the factory bolt out any tips? The nut on the back came out but the long bolt wont budge

Huh, why is one so much shorter than the other, feel like the bike is more symmetrical than that.
Did you have to hold up engine with jack?
