Did you try coolest ash brown? If so, how did it compare to Mousse Cake? I have coolest ash brown and compared to the colour ring sample Mousse Cake looks darker. The belle tress is an absolutely stunning ash brown.

I'm a brunette so I turn to your channel quite often. I just ordered Belltress Calabasas in mocha maple brown. I wanted it in a true medium to dark red, and don't care to be an orange head. ..lol I love your comparisons of styles and colors. It seems like the blondes are all the rage now. I have blonde wigs, but as I grow older my brunette wigs look better on me; I'm 61. I hope I like this Calabasas style will work for me and the color as well. It was pricey even with the discount. I think we should all wear the color and style that we love and makes us feel beautiful. I always roll my eyes when I see that we (I'm 66) should wear blondes as we grow older. That may be fine for some but not everyone. Like you, I feel I look better in my brunettes. Yes, these definitely have a higher price point. I purchased Calabasas in two other colors after I recorded this video when Shirley had them at 40% off. I figured I wouldn't be able to find any lower than $225, and wanted to take advantage of the sale. Seems wigs just continue to get more and more expensive. xoxo Marlene

Oh oh oh I really love this style the most so far too! It's hard to tell from the color swatches, do you think there's a lighter brunette in the colors of this collection? I always wonder why the manufacturers don't spring for pictures of models in all the colors. But like you said, they didn't ask us! 💙
Hi Sharon, Thank you for visiting! This is my favorite so far as well. I agree it's difficult to tell from the swatches. Unfortunately, this collection offers only 3 brunettes. I have all the colors except for 3 of the blondes and the red; there are only 3 brunettes. I showed the Mocha Maple Brown in my video showing Newport. That brunette has light auburn highlights. The 3rd brunette is much darker than this one. LOL, nope, no one asked us. xoxo Marlene

I did look up this city in CA which I had never heard of thinking they may have harvested pumpkins at one time. Some do think that but it's not known. Calabasas has a population of just over 23,000 and an exclusive community where the average home is $1.5 million. Calabasas was settled by the Chumash indians and the name is thought to be from their language. It means where the wild geese fly. It is also possible it came from Spanish explorers in the 1700s. There are pumpkin patches there and an annual pumpkin festival.

Thanks for showing us the new "stuff" for 2024. I own Alpha blend in Butterbeer blonde. I love the length but only wear it occasionally because as you said its dense. I cannot put it behind my ears. The sides are very thick if that is a good way to describe it. I have considered thinning it out. But this new Calabasas may be for me. But no BBB. I know you only have that one sample but do you have any idea how close their new color milkshake blonde is? Maybe its just too early and there are no reviews of the cool blonde colors yet. After buying (an returning) many wigs over the years I just don't want to do that anymore. I wish some of these companies would come up with a better way to show their colors on line. And little snippets of hair samples don't work. Hope you have a great New Year and again thanks for all you do. We really appreciate it. Xo

I just finished recording a color comparison of all the brunettes and blondes from the City Collection. BBB is only on the styles from the Cafe collection; however, I did compare Milkshake Blonde to BBB. Milkshake is the closest blonde to BBB. No, those little snippets are not helpful at all. I sure wish Estetica would change to velcro tabs in the back! I love the length of Calabasas!!! I sometimes wear Estetica Skye but I'd like something a bit longer. I very much dislike heat-friendly fibers :(

The wigs in this collection are all named after cities in Southern California. I live in North Los Angeles. Calabasas isn't far from where I live. The wig is really cute.

Hi, thank you so much for stopping by. I haven't compared the measurements, but I do have a couple of Peppermint. I think they're similar in that both are very sleek straight styles. However, Calabasas is a blunt cut & all one length while Peppermint has layers and the ends are tapered/shattered. xoxo Marlene
