Nah, for me dude was on some bs with a few of those calls. Bad reffing can go both ways: letting mistakes slide or making ghost calls. Why would you e.g. make someone redo the trick at 5:42... Baffling stuff.

I also prefer it on the strict side for offense (just take another shot and show us you own it) but that seems to be a lot to ask, so I at least ask for consistency :)

totally agree. Maurio was a little strict on Joslin at the end but it was still a very fair game in the end. Strict refs are way better than lenient refs.

a game of skate is the one place in skateboarding were this type of mental seems to get at guys... the 1st toe drag was so minimal and the game was called that way the whole time... but that switch in "setting a trick" changed the pace and tone. great stuff
David should have contested that call on the fakie tre. They would’ve reviewed it and seen that there was no toe drag. That call ruined his good flow he was on.
