The infantry boots also help the Cav in the old days and that should still be the case. Which is why the land doctors usually only have INF or Mech or tank boots. The Infatiterie Boots also count for the Cav. So theoretically you can make the Cav even stronger
If you haven't done one already, you should do a mapuche run with cavalry only. Trust me, the mapuche focus tree gives cavalry crazy good bonusses, and also allows you to core all of the america's if you hold out for long enough

Leg infantry is pure infantry yes, but if it says "All Frontline Battalions" (Which you have in the beginning on Superior Firepower that gives you %+10 soft attack and one extra on the left side which gives you +5 org and one on the right side which gives you %+5 soft attack) you can see it also effects horses. Also Grand Battleplan left side is stronger imo, max planning and coordination bonus is huge. You can yourself ask less supply consumption or these ones.
@@db44-t6b It was 25 instead of 20 if i remember correctly but i think i get enough breakthrough, planning and coordination bonus to ignore right side bonuses. But you may want flat bonuses since planning requires waiting y'know. This is what planning is about, you can get more attack bonuses than enemy's entrenchment bonus and get the initial breakthrough especially with the massive coordination bonus if you know how coordination works i don't need to explain that, so yeah. Right side can also work in different situations so i can not say that it's bad, it's just left one is more suitable for me cause of these reasons.

Poland still uses horses in some of their eastern border troops. Source - I'm Polish. A quote from 12th OT brigade commander: "The Greater Poland Voivodeship has a lot of fields, and forests cover nearly 30 percent of the area. Places where vehicles cannot manage are accessible for horses. Such solutions have proven to be very effective on the border with Belarus. (...) In rough terrain, a horse is practically invisible and inaudible."
By the way, don't bother with armoured trains. Get the cheap trains and just build loads of them. It's actually more efficient in the long run. Plus countries will always buy trains, which will boost your industry.

Poland sort of did this against the germans to good effect in real life They didnt charge headlong into german tanks as some think They ambushed the tanks while the men were outside of them And it was highly effective Im not saying they could have beaten germany, but if the soviets hadnt invaded from the other side they would have given them a run for their money
