I would be extremely disappointed in management and the HC if Sam is signed to a huge multi million contract. Sam DooDoo is not the long term answer. KOC can coach any QB which has been proven. It's time to give JJ his chance to shine or fail.

It looked to me like Darnold folded under the pressure, but I wasn’t standing there trying to throw the ball… What I do know, is that JJ has proven himself in stressful situations.
If we spend all that money on a QB when we have JJ in the wings and we need to address the o line and everything else. I don’t think we’re taking trying to win a Super Bowl seriously.

If the Offensive line isn't fixed JJ will be on his back.
I think Justin Jefferson is sick of the QB revolving door. he wants a solid QB throwing, and i dont think he honestly really cares who it is as long as its the best QB available. I Think Darnold would be great if he was cheap. Let him and JJ battle it out. I dont have faith in Darnold in the big time playoff games.

I definitely believe in JJ McCarthy, because I believe in our coach of the year Kevin O'Connell! Skol! All seriousness, I was impressed with JJ McCarthy in his one preseason game, kid throws a pick in his first drive, but comes back and leads the Vikings to a victory. He could have got inside his head and been a trainwreck the rest of the game.

Tbh prolly 2nd or 3rd best receiver. Randy 1st and you could argue Chris Carter at 2 but it’s very close I think
I would put Jets over Carter and I am a Carter fan, man I loved watching him play. However Jets is making catches that I am not sure Carter could have made i.e. the 4th and 18 catch against the Bills. Yeah it is very close between those two.
Jefferson is 3rd behind Carter. For now

A meniscus injury is something you never fully recover from IMO. So, his mindset and ability isn’t go to be the same as it was in college. Keep Sam at least for one more season or build draft capital for 2026 just in case.

Bottom line is can’t play under pressure. I can’t believe people can’t figure out that simple concept. He wins the games that don’t mean anything but the games that do mean something and that will get you to the Super Bowl. He cannot win same thing happened to Kirk cousins Minnesota gave him close to $300 million and what did he do? He won a wildcard game big deal. get rid of Sam Donald as soon as possible.

Jj has the better deep ball. The stronger arm.
Darnold throw the ball down the field but loses every big game. No big time receiver wants that. Macarthy is already a championship winner. If the Vikings want to win one it’s with macarthy.
