As a ex landscaper due to Tinnitus.. i would strongly recommend you make sure you team has the very best hearing protection you can afford. Take it from some one who now will live the rest of there life with ringing in there ears, its a must! I would highly recommend doubling up when possible 👍🏼
When I started 15 years ago, I used ear plugs. Now I use ear plugs for my electric equipment and add muffs when I use gas.
I was thinking the same thing. Once you lose any of your hearing, it’s gone forever. By the time your hearing loss is detectable, you’ve already lost up to 50% of your hearing. Tinnitus comes in many forms (I personally have 3 different types - ringing, squealing, and whooshing), and once you have it, it’s for life. Hearing aids like mine cost over $10k. It’s a whole lot cheaper to just prevent auditory damage with some good ear protection.
That’s right, learn from other peoples mistakes because we don’t live long enough to make them all ourselves.
I can almost see with 100% certainty that the team leader doesn’t give a fuck about that after working in Landscaping protecting yourself comes off as weakness in that field even though that’s extremely wrong
Excellent advice. Thank you so much for this. Experience is definitely the best teacher.
Amazing how the team works together to blow all the leaves down the property to the street! It's an art with your firm!! Well done!
Thank you
Get them Guys uniforms/ Hoodies with Company Logo The Company I work we have to be in uniform pants don’t have to match but uniformity looks better working
This is how almost every company does it, not anything special
Awesome Team work✌🏻☕️☕️☕️
@@moneyjunkiemitch9018 They also need mandatory ear and eye protection.
I love watching the team work together! There is 1 guy who's a little off the beat. Ha ha Wonderful property. That's a leaf eating monster!
Good job and yes on the other neighbors lawns
I filmed it too.
That’s a good team blowing all those leaves.. also it’s good to save the leaves for mulching
Whites and browns makes a good team working good job … thumbs up 👍
Damn!!! That's an army of men and Equiptment perfectly coordinated just smashing that job.
Thank you so much
The algorithm wins again. Who knew I would enjoy watching people blow and vacuum leaves. 🤷🏾♀️
Super duper equipment, superb dedicated cleaning job
Hearing protection is a must.
Imagine being the neighbor and waking up super hungover to this. You guys get it done though good job.
Hahaha. That would be brutal.
Well at least their out in force and it doesn’t last ALL DAY LONG, my neighbor…big property one guy….goes on for days!
Lol
a before and after ,montage would be satisfying
Thank you verry much for video 👍👍👍👍👍👍
No matter the price, this is totally worth the money. I couldn’t imagine try to clean up these leaves by myself.
Amazing crews, jobs, machines, what a nice teamwork, more blessings for your channel
The noise is INSANE!!! But so enjoyable to watch. I remember doing yards like this as a kid and it taking FOREVER!!!!! The time saved if I had a leaf blower... But sadly no, it was a rake and trash can! The chaos is crazy but so much fun to watch, great job guys!!!
Does the leaf vac mulch the leaves as they vacuum them up? Also, where do you dispose of the leaves?
I was looking in the comments to see if someone had already asked this...great minds think alike! Guys? Where do you take all these leaves?
It mulches them slightly. Better when they are dry
Amazing work guys. You saved this customer hours of work this year. After 30 years its is probably becoming a chore and getting a bit more difficult for them to do it themselves. Think they will book you in for next year too. 😄😄👍
Be a good company owner, and get all of your crew eye and hearing protection. And make sure they use it every time they're using the leaf blowers. They will think of, and thank you twenty years from now.
And don't forget dust masks! Protection for the employees is basic stuff.
The crazy thing is, assuming your blower does over 600 hours a year a Stihl BR800x pays for itself in a single year in fuel/oil economy alone compared to an Echo of the same size.
The Husqvarna uses about half the purchase price of a new Stihl in fuel & oil a year
They all should be provided earmuffs…that is insane the decimal they are getting. Contractors that is your job to provide. A must.
I have bags of ear plugs.
So amazing how you guys work in sync. You guys rocked those leaves out! Well done!
Thank you
There was a time, when you'd rake and bag or burn all those leaves. My how times have changed! ❤️👍❤️
Sir, I am very impressed 5 ⭐ video as always God bless y'all happy Thanksgiving to you and your family from Gaffney South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️💯
Thank you so much
Yes✌✌💪👆😀👏
Done
1.59 Did you see the ghost ? look near the house under the chimney.......
The Leaf busters! Great job 😊
Thank you!!
Wish I had them leaves on my garden
My favorite team doing leaves...amazing!! Have a blessed Thanksgiving to all the families
Thank you. You too
OMG 🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃🍂🍁🍃
Thank you
Incredible, amazing, great job - again!! Your guys are so insync!! That was a lot of leaves!!! It's got to feel like such an accomplishment when y'all finish a job like that! God bless y'all and your families!! 👍💞🙏
Customers are always amazed.
I wish you could make leaf clean up vids every day they’re my favorite you’re crew is the best on RUclips by far
Thank you so much!!!!
That is an accumulated massive amount of leaves. How the people coped on their own would be interesting. It really is impressive how well your crew works together. Glad you outwitted the wind drift.
what the heck would that cost with that big a team?
Winter coats and hats, and buddy is out there in a sleeveless shirt. Savage 😂
Haha. Yeah. He got sick the next day.
@@itshisturf23 😅
Another wow! You’re the best! ❤️👍🏻
Thank you

Thank you so much
Everyone all bundled up and then there’s one guy in a cut off
Good job
This was so satisfying to watch. This is what you call team work great job.
I may have said it in another comment, but a ride-along powerful rotary blower would work this property so much faster
I’m surprised at how many of the workers didn’t seem to be wearing hearing protection…..
I would build a retaining wall along the edge of the street and use all the leaves every year to pack in at the bottom of the hill and gradually level out the yard over time 😎
Just think how much the truck could hold if the leaves went through a grinder after being vacuumed up.
I thought the guy on the mower was gonna turn on blade when they got closer to truck, about ten times the amount would fit in the truck that way.
The suction fan beats them up a little, but because of the way they are blown into the box, they stack pretty dence.
Eeek, so scary, and so pleased not to have deciduous trees.
Having the right equipment is necessary for any job, but putting together a crew that works so well together is rare. As usual great job. May God bless each of you with a bounty of turkey, family and His grace.
All illegal aliens.
I do have to say I've never seen anything like that before and that was absolutely amazing what a great way to get the leaves done
Thank you so much
My first time seeing that too and it was a beautiful dance. No one seemed to be talking to each other either!
I can’t tell if they’re wearing ear protection or not. I hope so. The noise is loud. It is bordering on miraculous how you clean up so much so fast!
12:08 Replace that single vacuum hose with a *Y* connector, then add *TWO* hoses. That shredder can handle more than you can rake into it.
I was wondering why the guy working the hose was barely pushing anything into it and then I noticed it was the owner, you’d think he’d be moving faster instead of walking around and looking
After 30 years, they are older, probably wealthier and can afford someone us to take strain. I have my yard crew come out weekly from Nov. 1 through to Christmas getting the leaves off my lawn. I have a lot of trees in the back yard.
Makes sense. More often is better for us too
@Castleknight how big is your yard and if you don’t mind, what is the rate?
A walk behind leaf plow cart would work wonders when trying to get the leaves to the suck truck. still an awesome video
That seems a lot in labor cost to have that many people working to pickup leaves.
Its like watching centipedes hustle .... fun fun. The sheer volume of leaf debris is mesmerizing
Thank you and I agree
I love the huge truck that sucks up and mulches the leaves. Of you ever decide to do a "trip" show would love to have you here in Georgia. My husband is 77 and not much gets done but he tries.
And Corsicana, Texas!
That’s a neat idea honestly.
@@itshisturf23 im in ga too !
Loved the video! Every time I watch the leaf vacuum, it reminds me of a hungry caterpillar. I can’t unsee it.😅 I watch all you guys and think ‘I’m just a girl who wants to blow leaves.’ 😢😅😂❤
Makes sense. Send 8 guys to do a job in less than 1 hour for $200 or have one guy spend 8 hours to do the same job for $200.
You could get some of those massive snow shovels and 2 guys could use it together for the giant piles at the truck, better than kicking it in.
On big jobs like this, do yall take out the Air Filters and clean them before the next job?
Did you name your vacuum truck “Ellie?” The hose definitely looks like an elephant trunk. “Time to bring out Ellie!”
Haha. I like it.
What do y'all do with the equipment you don't use anymore, do you sell it?
Sell it or give it away.
@@itshisturf23 is there any way I could be a candidate for a give away or considered for pricing, I live in Cabot, Ar.
why are you sweeping leaves when there are many more on the trees?
We do it ever other week to make it easier work
VERY NICE JOB YOU ALL
Thank you
My biggest question is where did you find 10 guys willing to work?
What do you do with all the leaves? Make your own compost?
Another great video! I'm wondering why are you guys aren't using Stihl blowers ?
Question answered in intro (you’re welcome).
@@kristineguetschow9134 I wrote my comment before watching, thanks! In my area, all professionals use only Stihl, although we also have a big Husqvarna dealer.
I love watching this ballet team of leaf pickup. How long in real time did this take you?
40 minutes.
@@itshisturf23 That entire yard only 40 minutes? Wow. You guys fly
Excellent job gentlemen, the blowers and leaf vac make it a game winner for you. Thanks for the ride along sir.
They are great.
There’s one teenager who will never know the experience of having her dad wake her up one random Saturday morning in fall- hand her a rake, giant trash bags and a brief instruction on how to rake all the leaves into piles… And then by mid afternoon let the dog who loves jumping in freshly raked leaf pile spring out the back door and head directly towards the one she working on … I’m sure there was some sort of life lesson there.
How to tell everyone you don't live in a California HOA.
Remind me to never plant trees in my yard 😂
Yes, I would like to see the properties across the street! Too bad you don't have a parking lot blower to help the backpack guys.
In Florida allot of people use their leaves as mulch
So..are all your arms bigger on the right like that guy in "Lady in the Water"? Lol..Loved watching. Thxs
Hahaha
Wow you have an amazing team love these leaf pick up videos would definitely want to see more.
Red Max blowers are awesome too
I’ve never tried them
why does this just look so damn ridiculous lolol
You should always have them to check behind each other. The guy limping don't back up far enough after he goes forward the first time. Somebody needs to come behind your guys to get the leftover leaves. Other than that you guys work like a well oiled machine!! 🙏🙏💯
no hearing protection?
Yes we want to see the other two properties. All of you do awesome work, God Bless
If I lived up there I’d have property and layer worthless dirt with leaves and make exceptional soil! Lots of profit in those leaves! Great video
A leaf plow on the zero turn would save so much time there at the end. Great video
Aww, I wanted a before and after... Still a great and momentous job!
I will post them on instagram. Can’t believe I forgot
I love all of your videos. I'm going back to catch up. Leaf cleanup videos are my favorite. It's great that you bought all new backpack blowers for everybody, and I feel that's admirable.
Don't you guys have ear protection for that kind of constant noise? I reckon you'll get hearing daming sooner or later? 🤷
I do and I have bags of ear plugs for the crew.
WOW !!!
Thanks
I ❤ raking leaves and watching your amazing crew! When my kids were little we would rake the leaves then they would take turns jumping into the pile.
This is so mesmerizing to watch. Like watching an army of ants! Awesome!
I especially like the leaf kicking technique! It looks like an Irish jig.
Can you please get your guys to do a chorus line Irish leaf kicking jig? Please???
Amazing team work, you and your crew did a great job.
These guys did a very good job removing all these nutrients lying around.
Yes! These trees must love them
Love the filming , keep it up .
Sure, I want to see the leaf cleanup across the street!❤
I filmed it
The first time I’ve seen a crew waist deep in leave, the most impressive though was to see the wave flowing down towards the vacuum truck, that’s the way to do it, great watch.
We had many apartments where the company that I got hired on as a crew leader was told that they had been blowing the leaves into the beds where the bushes where at and also where the ac units were at . That was a sloppy practice, but in one property in particular the depth was over 3’ of leaves that the crews never picked up .
It was in the medical center of San Antonio and it actually used to belong to the 2 Frost banking brothers from the early 1900’s .
No wonder they had a solid wood grand staircase at the property managers and a massive 8’ deep pool .
I surveyed it and told the boss that they could bring all of the crews and we wouldn’t make a dent even if we were there for a solid week .
The massive amount of leaves , trash , branches and acorns plus the terrain and distance to the roads was gonna create setbacks. I even suggested that they see about either renting that type of leaf vac machine or buying one . Nope , all by hand , so I brought my 2 trampoline tarps and had the guys load the leaves while the other guys drug em to the trailers , vs having to get all of the crew to lift and carry the damn tarps hundreds of feet .
Work smarter , always producing results.
*Guys blowing the leaves* "This is awesome! haha!"
*Guy raking the leaves into the sucker/chipper* "Where's my Iphone?? Awwww Shi......"
Great video have you tried the echo pb 9010
Not the 9010. The 8010 had a ton of power but didn’t last with our abuse
Y'All doing a Great Job!!!!
Great teamwork...I was surprised you didn't use a walk behind blower..It does a great job moving leaves either ahead of the crew or behind to finish the job..Mine has made a world of difference in both time and clean up..
Great for parking lots, not ideal for lawns. Better control if the vortex starts from above.
Have you ever tried a Push Blower before? One brand out there is Billy Goat but it seems like for blowing the big piles a push blower might work better then a backpack?
Really enjoy these big yard all hands on deck leaf cleanups.
ABSOLUTELY
What a way to start the day. All those years of racking leaves. Single backpack blower makes the job a lot easier now. Thanks for sharing the video.
If I’d have had one as a teenager, I’d be rich
