@@jakedudley6097obviously you’re new to DTF. What he means by curing the ink with the heater is that it leaves the ink somewhat tacky before you add adhesive to it which is crucial for DTF.
They always innovative, but the only thing they did wrong here in my opinion was to keep roll size at 20” inches instead of give the users 24” inches roll that is the standard for bigger printers. I guess now I need to bring another roll size into the game, like is not enough having 12”, 13”, 15”, 17”, 24”, 32”, 48” in the market 😂
Wait.. so i have a serious question... Lets say I brought this printer in the bn2-20 version, printer cutter, I can use that same printer to print dtfs?
Be careful with Roland company. We bought BN20 DTF Printer from Roland UK. The printer did not work and Roland refused to change the printer only offer us repair we lost £4000 with Roland UK.
The Machine prints good but the Utility is a nightmare. It gets frozen and there is no way to find out what is going on. No error message, no help. Seler responds days or weeks later to help. Do not buy this thing! It's a very complex equipment with tons of issues.
@ after print a couple of feet of film, machine got printhead issue. Technicians tried to fix it, they mess up the machine. Finely they said: Machine cannot be fixed and abandoned the case. Now, I’m on my own.
no adhesive powder or heater needed??
The BY-20 is just the printer. You still need to apply the DTF powder and cure it before pressing the transfer to a garment.
why does it even mention having a heater to "cure" the ink then...@@uscuttervideos

@@jakedudley6097cause it still need to cure slightly before adding powder.
So you can print vinyl stickers and DTF on a BY-20, but no DTF on the BN2-20?
Serious question if I got DTF ink and DTF film for BN2-20 would I be able to do DTF?
No, it would destroy the machine.
How much per unit?
I could swear that it says $8,495 on the link in this video, where do you get $11,742 from?
