@@abj136I’d rather have the superheavyweight with a weight limit. Literally everyone is just aiming to gain weight right now just to be strong. It’s easy to be big and strong specially when you got good genetics. When he was lighter, he lost to Genadi, Sabin, Krasimir. guy’s that Devon can take head on. But Levan is just too much for everbody with his weight. Kurdecha, Vitaly, Revaz are the only few people who can try and catch up with Levan’s weight. In my opinion, it’s just boring to watch the Superheavyweight champion defend his title. There’s no thrill. You’d already know he’d win by a margin. Unless the guys can match his weight or guys like Eddie Hall, Brian Shaw gets on the sport. That’d be interesting.

He ONLY showed any effort when he started to press him down to pad and he could of top rolled him to pad also if he wanted but remember this is a humble classy guy, unlike Devon, and didn’t want to injure or embarrass him too much in front of his family. Devon is actually incredibly weak compared to all the other Super Heavy's... All Devon has is his wrist and his BS in the setup to gain an advantage. If Devon does not gain that leverage in the setup, he cannot win against any of these guys in terms of strength. Devon is just a master of the setup. But, that first round, where Levan lost hand positioning, and still pressed Devon to the pad like a little girl, just shows how far off Devon actually is from Levan, and that his "pronation", and hand leverage cannot overcome that big of a gap. Denis has insane strength too, but just does not have the hand dexterity Levan has because his hand is so fat and wide. So Denis can easily be manipulated in the setup and lose leverage. This is why Denis plays on the defense a lot.

They are probably the weakest in the super heavy category. Devon has always struggled with bicep strength. That is why Devon has put all of his effort into the forearm and wrist. Devon's bicep curls are pathetic for his size. But this just shows you do not need Bicep strength to do well at the highest level anymore... Then again, there are pro's and con's because Arm Wrestling has become a lot less about a battle between pure arm strength, and now more of a battle of technique and approach.

What Devon needs to stand a chance at Levan is comparable side pressure to be able to deny press like how it was against Ermes. But I don't think it's humanly possible for Devon and nearly all other arm wrestlers. Laletin, Kurdecha and Morozov are the last hope. Kurdecha in particular demonstrated impressive side pressure against Tsvetkov.

I dont think Devon actually stopped Levan.. Looking at Levans body language, he looked perfectly comfortable and just kind of feeling out a few things. I would have loved to have seen Devon try to go for the press round 1 and test Levan there, but there is just too much of a strength gap and unless Devon could pack on another 100lbs of quality weight, there is no chance. We need Alex or Vitaly put in the type of dedication Devon does in order for Levan to be defeated. I dont think the Russians have a chance right now either.

I agree with Dennis and I’m from Canada and I love Devon but if you would’ve added an extra 15 to 20% muscle, it’s a whole new ball game guaranteed look at his right arm looks smaller than his left. He was relying on the cup taking the wrist and I was the wrong thing to doforearm is too big for that to be happening. Devon just needed 15 pounds of muscle when we’re talking about a different match.

Levan must have TRICKED everyone about his strength, leading up to that match. The "stop" everyone BELIEVES happened, was just Levan playing with the Devon Delusionals, making them think Devon had a chance. 😂😂😂
After that, Levan destroyed Devon once again as if he was pulling pillow cases full of feathers, for the second time ( and without the muscle tear excuse the Devon Delusionals attempted to ride on). 😂😂😂
    Absolutely HILARIOUS. 😂😂😂

100% bcuz Devon came in at 263lbs, dude has the bigger frame naturally but wont properly bulk up to SHW shape. Same thing last time happened, once Levan figures out the hand he went right to the bicep an back pressure, which is still too weak at 263lbs.

Look at the stats...Levan is 50% heavier than Devon. His arms are nearly 25 inches. Size matters here. Looking at the two of them side by side and Levan is much bigger. In saying that, Levan at 180kgs is not healthy.

@minkjanze5938- these guys have to have blood work probably once a month to check liver and kidney function and echoes/ekg’s and all that. All the steroids requires this…Devon was probably told by his doctor that is he took that journey of gaining 30-40 lbs it would cause permanent damage so he stayed his more natural weight. Plus he’s almost 50 and has a family to take care of. He made the wisest choice overall. I can’t speak for Levan…hopefully he comes to his senses and just dumps that belt and loses some weight and gets healthy
