You can drag the second keeper up towards the first one and tuck it in the second keeper after going all the way up through to the first. The second keeper is floating.
Thank you for bringing up the 3 o'clock lume. I believe early productions of these line of watches don't have them and are only introduced in later editions!
The color of the 239 dial is ANTHRACITE, which is the darkest shade of gray. I have one and love it, but Im ready to replace the NATO with a rubber strap.
You mention the sunburst is more noticeable on the 145, is that the same as the metallic look that some of the seiko dials have? The 239 and 147 seem to have a darker overall look. Guess because neither are on a bracelet. Have to see them in hand. Thanks for the video. Keep up the great work.
I had a co-worker compare the bezel action after the review and he agreed as well. What I can't say with any certainty is whether or not there is an actual difference between the models or if the bezel was just "tight" on this 145 model. I may have to compare to all we have in stock next week.
Both Seikos are amazing iconic colorway watches. I think most watch luvers would be happy with either.

From memory I do think the 145 was slightly more metallic, but it may be highly subjective. Thanks for viewing!
Seemed like there was a slight difference in the bezel action between the two. Good comparison.

145 as I don't care for the small lume pip near the date. Although, I might like the dial color more on the 239.
Is it me.. or does the SPB145 look 1-2 mm larger than the SPB239..??
From some angles I can see that. I think it has to do with one being closer to the camera at times.
Cheers brad
239 win
239 on my wrist.

perfect watch but I dont like nato strap wear like this..its looks..messy
The problem is that these watches are too big for 7" wrist.
