- Welcome to Master Saga Season 6! @Farfa and @Nyhmnim are back to compete in another round robin version of Saga. Each week all three of us will open packs before dueling each other to win prizes for the next episode. This time, though, we’ve changed several rules to mix things up!

Farfa was incredibly based with his BLS deck. It was so fun, laughed so much this ep! Hope he doesn't get discouraged by the losses. Also hope the BLS deck doesn't get murdered in the banlist :(

The best thing about the wheel is that it's only been 2 n/r. The wheel has so far been useless and nothing to mix things up.

Farfa's BLS deck was actually really cool and honestly better than everyone gave it credit for. I hope it doesn't get murdered on the banlist because with a couple extra copies of certain cards or some generic ritual support, i can easily see it taking a couple games. In fact, unless I'm mistaken, I think he could've won his game with Doug had he played a little differently

It probably has to get hit simply because he has nothing else worth banning. Same reason Gage immediately lost his Ghoti stuff last season.

Farfa is 1 win 7 lose. Even if he plays fun decks, it isn't really fun to watch if it always loses.
How is it "better than everyone gave it credit for"? Both Gage and Doug were calling it crazy, meanwhile it did like one play in both games, that was easily countered, and then it was immediately out of gas and never did anything again, dying horribly. It got way more credit than it deserved, they were pogging at every activation, but these activations were doing nothing of consequence?
Its actually similar to my Tear BLS face card deck I made recently. Minus the Tear of course. If he pulled Tear he could actually put in work. Sheiren and Queen are lv4 light/darks so you can summon BLS with effects and it triggers your tear cards. Its silly but fun.
I appreciate Farfa playing decks for how interesting/different they are.

For 4 Episodes in, Gage's staples are kind of insane.
Duality, Prosperity, BOM, Slayer, Daruma, Moon Mirror, Black Rose, Bigfoot, 2x Red Moon, Wightprincess, and the Striker Engine with Widow Anchor, Hornet Drones, Engage. Even the old school cards (Breaker, Warrior Lady) are totally playable!
Even with the Purrely deck 100% being put down, I think this puts Gage at a huge advantage moving into the banlist.
On a completely different note, haters be damned, LET'S GO DOUG. Always happy to see my boy winning.

Doug has the most power right now. We need to see him through the middle. Doug usually starts off hot and goes down in the middle of his series when he starts to open dudu packs. Gage has great staples but they are in Gages hands which is a serious problem

Opposite actually. These staples are in GAGE’s hand, the king of custom hands. Farfa or Doug will see Pros three or four times maybe in the series, but since Gage has it, we’re seeing it at least eight times this series.

Disappointed Farfa didn't go for fabled. Last season Doug made Farfa ban Dante. Farfa could have gotten his revenge by making dzeef have to ban The Fabled Gungoolus

44:55 in the original Story, Dante has a happy ending, AND Beatrice does not get dragged into the depth of hell. Dante's guide in hell is Vergil, his guide in Paradiso and the 9 realms of heaven is Beatrice since Vergil as a heathen cannot go there.
The divine comedy is actually a pretty good story and worth reading once.

I think this episode did a really good job showcasing why effects that only matter in the battle phase are kind of power crept. Not being able to activate in the battle phase doesn't do much when it doesn't stop activations in the main phase from negating it. Would of been amazing if it had been able to go off even once.
Dzeef went from "why the BA no die?" about an opponent's monster, to "Why the PK no die?" about his own.
And that's what you call development.

Dante's inferno was such a sick game, basically a garbage god of war clone but set in the world of the divine comedy. Doug is based for that reference.

Dante does not go to hell to save Beatrice, she was already dead since a few years, he went to hell to save himself from the wrong road and purify its soul. Beatrice is simply his guide through Heaven.

The rankup is literally a 1-of. The propability on bricking on it (especially with the discards) is very low, the impact on power would be huge. Also the standard breakswords combo can end on it so its very consistant.
Dzeeff play Small Scuffle. It's great for any strategy that needs a level 2 or 1. Ban Purrely and you'll be able to get a free starter/body.
You think this would enable the opponent as much as you, but I swear that most of the times on ladder they only summon Maxx "C", many times I block them from summoning their Kashtiras or Cyber Dragons too
Watching this after learning a Kashtira pack was added to the game gives a new feeling.
Does Doug know that dark requiem xyz dragon doesn’t say “once per turn” for the monster negate effect?
Like I understand playing the rank up kinda sucks cause you’d much rather summon it with raider’s knight but it doesn’t get the effect that way.
I understand that chat/comments were bagging on him to play them and I’m kinda doing that again, but honestly if Gage really does ban fogblade making it so the rest of the PK engine is sorta untouched he really needs to consider actually playing for dark requiem xyz dragon
I just felt like if I resolved breaksword/Rebellion that the game is past the point if Requiem being useful. I'd rather have a 3000 body that floats into a number of different cards (and doesn't require a rank up), if that makes sense

Ive actually been really liking farfas decks this season. Alot of interesting small things thats been able to come together to make some pretty cool decks. Douge and cage have pulled some monster decks so sadly farfas have been struggling to keep up but i think his decks have been my fav so far

I've never once complained anything done in this series. But I hope the new BLS deck that Farfa made doesn't get completely ruined, considering how bad his score is.

Dang, Farfa stole Nyhmnim's Ninja pulls of the episode (for context, in the first 3 episodes he's pulled 4 SR/URs and the field spell without entering the pack)
Chaos Phantasm is actually great in sealed where it isn't too slow. Unfortunately Farfa missed the Synchro's.
Farfa finally has the semblance of a workable deck (after getting, what is this... 0-6 or 0-8?) and it's going to get crippled after just one use? That just does not seem fair; that wheel buff better be amazing as hell to make up for it.
I mean it's his own fault for going into terrible packs. Remember how everyone was roasting Gage last season for going into bad packs too? The difference is Farfa is a Saga veteran while when Gage dis it he was a newbie. Farfa should know better by now. He's just excusing himself by pretending he's doing it to play "fun" decks as if people were annoyed that he was playing emta decks last season and not that he was playing the same decks half the time.
@@NovusIgnisyeah last season was odd for farfa to played meta decks for weeks, usually in his previous saga seasons and roulette farfa always picked interesting packs

Like half of the time he was just playing Mathmech, 25% of the time he was playing shaddol, and then the rest of the time he was playing some mix of striker, Mathmech, shaddol, and numeron. He basically just kept trying to play through the bannings and then would complain when everyone complained about him never playing something else.
Now he's just taken it to an extreme as if he doesn't understand that people want them to good decks, but just not every time.
I can see that daruma ban coming from a mile away once the series progresses

We need a rule that makes royal rares immune to their banlist. For example if Gage opened 2 trish this episode and they decided to ban trish his royal rare one (and only it) would remain playable

I think the wheel needs a protection card where you get to protect one card from being banned and if you get it again you can't use it on the same card
That loser wheel is rigged I say we ban tthe 2 N/Rs to the shadow room or at least make it 4 n/rs as it's sucky for a catchup mechanic to have an option that really does not do that if they get the worst slice of the wheel.
Except it needs to be worse than 1st and 2nd. You lost. You don't get rewarded for losing. It used to be in earlier seasons the loser got the better reward (namely more bans) and then people just started sandbagging when they were up in total games leading into a banlist.

Yes. The same thing happened in Tear format if people put just "Agido" on their deck list.
It does suck that Farfa got a halfway decent strat the episode before the banlist and we all know that BLS ritual monster and ritual card are getting banned or limited minimum.

I know we meme on farfa for “6 weeks of mathmech” and his choices this week were not ideal, but I hope next week he tries a meta play if he gets one. In an ideal world, it be a fun neck and neck battle between the boys. Now it just feels like dunking on one dude.
Dude did it to himself lol. He wanted to pretend that the hate was just because he was playing "good" decks and not that he went into the same pack and played the same deck a dozen times lmao.
All things considered, this episode was very close. Farfa went 0-2, but it was very possible to win both of those games things went just slightly more his way.
Man had like 4 secret pack options and I don't even think Salad would have been the correct play. It's so unbelievably top heavy and he doesn't have a craft. The only reason it was "good" for Gage is he pulled triple Gazelle triple Circle AND went into it twice.
MBT pulled it in the structure deck wheel and despite literally starting with 1 of everything his deck was only "okay" (granted he still won that week because he was against coughing baby).
I love this series.
