Agricultural economic models have proved to be unsustainable in India. Send your kids to school, give them good education and make them a highly skilled professional - this is what will happen. Agriculture will eventually be taken over by corporate just like it happened in developed countries during the 70's. Farmers are doomed no matter what government is in power or what policies they introduce. It's depressing but its true. No farmer wants his or her children to be a farmer.
