Why Does This Reflect Hegemony? India's history is marked by nearly 1,000 years of rule by Sultanate dynasties and the Mughal dynasty, followed by approximately 200 years of British colonization, despite these rulers often being invaders or foreign powers comprising a relatively very small percentage of the population. Few nations have endured such prolonged domination by external forces. During the Mughal era, India was among the wealthiest countries in the world, contributing significantly to the global economy. Yet, 77 years after gaining independence, the nation continues to face economic struggles, ranking low in GDP per capita. Notably, India’s GDP per capita is now comparable to that of Bangladesh. India must critically evaluate its priorities. While billions of dollars are being allocated toward military expansion, millions of its citizens remain deprived of basic necessities such as adequate food, healthcare, and sanitation. This disproportionate focus on defense spending also triggers a chain reaction, prompting neighboring countries to increase their own military expenditures out of perceived threats, further destabilizing regional peace and diverting resources from development. Additionally, India’s foreign relations face mounting challenges as neighboring countries increasingly distance themselves. Factors such as a perceived "big brother" attitude, interference in the internal affairs of smaller neighbors, attempts to impose one-sided bilateral agreements, and unresolved territorial disputes contribute significantly to this estrangement. It is imperative for India to introspect and strike a balance between strengthening its national defense, advancing socio-economic development, and building trust with its neighbors. By addressing these issues holistically, India can foster regional stability, enhance its global reputation, and create a foundation for sustainable growth and prosperity.

General , BD people are not fond of India or it's people, genuinely speaking, as a matter of convenience , they travel to India, nothing more. You , Indians must not be under shock, just remember the history unbiasedly. In the name of a good relation with India, what Sheikh Hasina did was not approved by BD people. Stop lamenting, stop crying.
The circus in Bangladesh is started by the US. But rice bag slaves cannot blame their Evangelical masters for anything. The term "Pajeeet" is coined for your kind.
Subramanian Swamy: Modi can be tried for treason by a future BJP government, because he kept saying"Koyi aaya nahin..." which is a deliberate lie. Moreover he also agreed to legitimise Chinese grabbing of Indian territory by a bogus border agreement recently in which Waiter and Doval are complicit.
Indians might find it helpful to consider that Hasina’s leadership has been viewed critically by some, particularly regarding election transparency and governance in Bangladesh. The student-led protests have played a significant role in Bangladesh’s history, representing the struggle for true freedom. It would be wonderful if India approaches its relationship with Bangladesh with mutual respect and recognizes our shared interests as equals, rather than viewing us as a smaller partner. I think there’s a perception among some Indians that their influence in Bangladesh has changed, which might lead to some frustration. However, I believe this sentiment is not uncommon in government dynamics. It’s heartening to note the many similarities between Indian and Bangladeshi people, and I hope that there can be more understanding and appreciation of each other’s perspectives. Ultimately, fostering cooperation and maintaining a good relationship between Bangladesh and India would surely be beneficial for both nations.
@@shariyarshajid it is not possible for India to forget what BNP Jamat Govt did to her betwen 2001 and 2006 and beyond. Hence, irrespective of whatever India's arc of influence was in BD, India had no option but not to do/say anything against Hasina. As regards mutual respect, what else could India do apart from below to show it? 1. Within 3 months of victory, full Indian amry was withdrawn. Did any other country do so? 2. India resolved enclave exchange with BD peacefully where BD gains and India losses landmass. 3. Maritime border dispute: India respected the intl court order without a single further word. Compare that with China's behaviour against similar judgements against them. 4. India erects fences inside 150 yards of her boundary. If India would not treat BD as equal she would have erected on Bordee line itself. All these are few examples that demonstrate that India gives BD due respect which BD does not value.

India thrives under Bangladeshi remittance, specially WB. Economically, India needs Bangladesh more than the later needs former. India has treated Bangladesh like its colony- no people to people connection. You cannot expect Bangladeshis to always lower their head; revolution was inevitable, change is needed as an independent country.
It's important to prioritise what is best for Bangladesh. While relationships with neighbouring countries like India can be complex, the focus should be on fostering mutual respect and collaboration. Bangladesh should make decisions that align with its own interests, growth, and prosperity, without being influenced by India's negativity or conflict. India is often seeking to keep Bangladesh economically dependent, and always acting as a hindrance to Bangladesh's progress and development.
You have security threat then you invest in security same as Pakistan border . Looks like you failing in Manipur . Bangladesh has no duty to ensure your security
Bangladeshi must stop pretending its some big shot. Its not. Its a small nation sandwiched between a large nation that is watching it closely. Wrong steps will lead to unfortunate results. This is not India from 1972 - Modi and India care nothing about Bengalis. If Bangladesh makes itself a problem, it should prepare to be "solved".
Do you think that only Hasina to be kept in power to maintain relation with India? This is stupid thinking. We are an independent country. We will make friendship with any one we choose. It can not be a condition that, to make India satisfy we can't make friendship with Pakistan.
Do you think anybody cares in India who is in power in Bangladesh as long as they behave ? Nobody gives 2 farts about Bangladesh- or its leaders or its political issues. They want a stable, reliable and pro India leader. If not it willl be a threat and threats we neutralise one way or the other. Ask your cousins in Pakistan about their success rate. As to friendships - we know the difference between friend and foolish gimmicks. In 21st century small nations who think they are over smart and mess with large nuclear powers get eaten and then come out the backside of these big countries. Bangladesh needs to be careful how much it wags it tail and barks loudly.

Stop lamenting, stop crying.

The circus in Bangladesh is started by the US. But rice bag slaves cannot blame their Evangelical masters for anything. The term "Pajeeet" is coined for your kind.

If so, than India is solely responsible for this.and you know the reasons.
How can Bangladesh avoid an economic collapse?
@@amitavasaha2851 What abouts RAW agents that rigged elections and abducted Bangladeshi citizens? Is That also "showing respect" to Bangladesh? Why is Hasina given shelter in India when entire Bangladesh considers her a criminal?
@bilalbaig8586 what evidence do u have that RAW rigged BD election? If RAW was into such business, would it not apply first in Maldives or Lanka or Nepal? If BNP and Jamat are unable to dislodge Hasina why should India be blamed for it?
And did India send plane to Dhaka to get Hasina or Bangladesh Army sent Hasina to India? In BD nothing sells more than Anti India barks.
@@AnAn___ by not paying dues to other countries (like they have not paid for months to Tripura for electricity supplied) and by begging.
Bangladesh has no duty to ensure your security
stop non sense. We are taking pro Bangladesh policies . INDIA must rectify her hegemonial attitude.

It can not be a condition that, to make India satisfy we can't make friendship with Pakistan.
idiot it is Bangladesh Army, Executive sent her to India. India has not picked her. Why cannot you people take back Ms Taslima Nasreen?
