beautiful video-doc., Thanks for bringing this to us. Informative and entertaining. I always felt that thing really don't change much in terms of culture etc and this is the evidence of that. we are amazingly overpopulated now and destroyed the city and its fora and fauna. Pollution has massively gone up and too many people create bad vibrations to concentrate in a smaller area, all our cities are facing the same issue.
The fantastic thing is that Bombay had that simplicity and innocence too , with her charismatic forwardness ( how advanced Bombay was and yes, Bombay was beautiful than Mumbai ) And the best part no plastic, no pollution , no crowded streets even with the hustle and bustle of regular work . Nostalgic.. Frankly only reason of liking is that nostalgic touch ...Stop calling us some Asians .. We are Indians.
Thank you very much, Olive Morgan, for providing us such rare glimpses of Bombay streets, and of Juhu in the late 1930s. It is striking how dark & small the Indian natives look in comparison with the British {or American) family staying in that beach-side bungalow...

@@nironeko2242 I disagree. With numbers less than 10% of us, the British defeated us -- in battle after battle, 1757 to 1810. As a result, a nation of 200 million people came to be ruled over by barely 20,000 Brits ! That means 1 Brit showed himself equal to 100 Indians ! I am ashamed that we were so divided (amongst ourselves) that we just could not overthrow them -- until Gandhiji came along in 1916 or so, and began the process of creating a united Hindustan. It took another 29 years before we had the intelligence & strength to make them leave....
