Your review of oud is very promising. Ive had a bad journey starting with wax melts. Ive tried every brand under the sun and could never smell anything. It was so frustrating! I wondered if it was just my melter that was the problem. It was brand new and had good reviews but i just bought another model that is a plate warmer as opposed to the one i have that warms with a bulb. Using the new one i immediately got major throw from it off a melt that gave me nothing on my other melter. Im now so excited to try oud again.. its one of the best scents ive ever come across.. i love smelling it on cold but now ill actually be able to smell it on my new warmer :) like a lot of the scents you review on here, i loved them on cold and literally smelled nothing melting them. It was the damnedest thing. Apparently plate warmers are way better?! I cant wait to try them all with my plate warmer and actually smell them!

Moonlit Amber and Cashmere is just "Noah's Ark" re-named. It's the same scent notes. You reviewed Noah's Ark on May 15, 2019. This is the scent notes for Noah's Ark -"Top: Amber, Soft Vanilla; Mid: Violet, Lavender, White Woods; Base: Bright Berries, Sandalwood"
I bought my first melts haul, I love the 3 wick candles. But I put a cube in my warmer and I can't smell it unless I get my nose right over. Should I use 2 cubes instead of 1? GC site says 1 cube throws 50+ hours per cube, but I can't smell it after 15 minutes!! I bought about 15 different waxes and so far I'm disappointed. Any suggestions?
If the scent itself is a weak thrower, it won't matter how many cubes you add. And it's very rare to find any wax melt that lasts for 50 hours; average is 6 hours, although I've come across a couple that lasted for 24 hours. I use a standard 20 watt electric hotplate warmer (not a bulb). You can read about throw and the variables that can affect it, including warmers, at www.waxmeltreviews.com/about-wax-melts-faq.html.
I just bought some Goose Creek wax melts too and really disappointed with them! I can't smell anything from them either! I'm melting 2 cubes at a time and there is no scent or throw from them. Really not happy with them at all. Never had wax melts that produce no scent before. Will not be buying any more of them that's for sure! Such a disappointment! :(

It seems counterintuitive, but depending on the size of your warming tray, melting 2 cubes at a time can make the wax pool too deep, so that the middle doesn't get warm enough. Although sometimes it's the scent itself that determines the strength of the throw, so some scents are stronger than others.
