When you make a character so good a certain catman wizard had to give a reference, you know he's a badass. Plus, gotta say it, seems Cait made the love child of nara and asmo with hers lol. At least that's the first impression I got.
Update: she did bring it up, but still can't help but think it. Also an all bard metalocalypse style campaign? Hell yes! Loving the ties that bind and eager to see what else comes out of that wild brain of yours.

Awesome episode guys! I couldn't help but notice that Kalrana seemed pretty peeved that the Orun Clergy invaded Alivast and she wasn't able to locate her target. She also was inquiring about the possibility of another Yuan-Ti being held by the Clergy and that if she'd completed her job she'd never have to work again.
I'm pretty sure Kalrana was sent here to kill Hassrad by his sister, but the invasion stopped her.
I was thinking it was something along those lines too

Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner.
Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it.
Disclaimer:
I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine.
These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks.
I’m not trying to antagonize anyone, I’m a fan just like you.
Nit-Picks:
48:05, 1:51:35 : D’erby couldn't use Awakened Mind, assuming that’s what he’s using, as they are beyond 30 feet of him.
1:06:10 : When casting augury multiple times a day there is a cumulative 25% chance that the reading you get is random, so there should be a 25% chance that this reading is random and a 50% chance that the next reading is random.
1:55:33 : The cleric couldn't target Digsby, D’erby and Desoto with Faerie Fire using only a 20ft cube.
2:01:05 : Uncanny dodge can only be used to halve the damage of an attack, it’s Evasion that works on Dexterity saving throws.
2:30:50 : Kalrana would get another sneak attack, even as she does only get one per turn, she would be attacking on a different turn than her own.
2:31:00 : Desoto couldn't use Commander’s Strike, as he had already used his bonus action to drink the potion.
2:39:35 : The moment D’erby enters the Tomb of Levistus, Summon Aberration would end, as your concentration ends when you are incapacitated.
2:40:20 : D’erby would take 19 damage total, as he gains vulnerability when he uses Tomb of Levistus.
2:48:15 : Desoto neglects to add his superiority die to the damage of the attack.
2:48:15 : The paladin should’ve made a concentration check to maintain concentration on Searing Smite.
2:54:15 : The attack would only deal 17 points of damage as it is an “offhand” attack.
Also, wait, Monty has a sword that can hit rules lawyers across long distances? Assuming Mexico is the limit of her range, hmm, let me google a few things… I should be about 2,000 kilometers outside her range; I live to Nit-Pick another day!
She lives in Canada. There are about 3000 kilometers between Canada and Mexico so...
That has got to be the most damage done while Polymorphed into a weaker form
Seeing the gateway crew on a mission in an alternate dimension with an alternate god was really cool! Shout out to the rest who get caught up and need somewhere to go, Gateway is great too!

Great episode. Damn, that potion Greckles gave Digsby really did come in handy. Just one quick thing: If Desoto had used Commander's Strike with Kairana, she would have indeed been able to prock sneak attack. Sneak Attack is per turn, not per round.

Personally, i like rule of cool a lot, but Monty did several mistakes in this game.
- Battlemaster's maneuver Commander's Strike really *CAN* activate a rogue sneak attack, since sneak attack activates once per turn, not once per round. And because the rogue would be attacking in the fighter's turn and not its own, it could roll sneak attack again.
For Battlemaster Fighters, this is the single best use of Commander's Strike.
- And also, Potions of Strength, Giant Size, etc. do not stack with Polymorph or Wild Shape if they were used *before* the transformation.
She deliberately said she would allow potion to stack with poly.
A DM rule supersedes anything the book says

Last week, I kinda talked loosely about a a homebrew race that I made. This week, let’s look at a character I made with it!
Zhanshi is a Panda Ursine with a long topknot with red fur, like that of a red panda. Her tall stature and rather built physique common is mistaken for that of a small werebear, and it’s not helped by her brash behavior and general mindset.
In battle, she wields two, massive longswords that would probably be greatswords in a human’s hands, as well as her bare hands for further battlefield control. In the tavern, she drinks heavy, and sleeps even heavier afterwards. But, it’s not all rough and tumbleness. She easily finds enjoyment in competition as well as stories around the camp fire.
Mechanically, if she were to be built as- what would currently be a back-up, she’d be a barbarian3/fighter5, focusing on Battle Master and Zealot subclasses. Of course, she has the dual wielder feat as well as the two-weapon fighting style. She tends to wear medium armor into battle, like scale mail or half-plate to make up for her lack of dexterity, but maintain the use of her rage.
Some say her fur discoloration could be from her Zealot subclass, others say it’s the primal fire deep inside shining through.
To be fair Lani, you were louder than Rabbit whin your early episodes of Role With Me
soon they will go insane from the darkening of there sun god. The death god is always eternal and there is no way to get rid of it.
I'm hoping they find a reason for the next episode to be named some variation of "The Punishment Due"
