Houston Texas girl here THIS is how we eat ribs! No sauce with a bite not so tender u can’t even pick it up! Yes sir! Love to see it!
Thank you lol
Great voice for radio and tv. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for listening
No yelling cussing only great information in a very pleasant voice😮😮😅
Weber should pay you for this video. You just sold one 22" kettle grill for them. I've watched this video 3 times now, using it for a reference to make the best bbq I've ever eaten. Great video!
Thank you love to hear this; means I did my job lol. Thank you for watching and learning how to make great BBQ keep up the good work my friend and so glad I could help.
All along I’ve been trimming my ribs. I will tuck from here on out. Thank you so much. Not sure why you don’t have 5 million viewers by now. You are the Man 😂❤
Thank you and thank you for watching glad I could help.
Hey Bud I just spent the last 43 minutes watching this video and I have to say your style of cooking, using all of the meat and teaching us how it's done was Brilliant!! I have subscribed and look forward to more vides my Man. You definitely have it Bud and your channel is going to be one of the best in my opinion! Cheers Bud!
lol Thank you and your comment go's a long way. The best is yet to come stick around.
@@bbqsouthernstyle Enjoy your Chanel; That’s what I call an outdoor kitchen, Keeping it Real my Friend… one ☝️ Love stay cooking 🥘
@@truthbetold4903 Thank you so much happy to have you watching.
I want to be his neighbor. 😁
Yes. you nailed it. That part.
Love this. People are too wrapped up in the competition looking bbq. We are feeding our families for crying out loud! My wife prefers the rib tips anyway.
Thank you and maybe one day they will come out with a real BBq competition where anyone can enter without everyone's BBQ looking and or tasting the same, like The Truman Show. Smh.
Ohhhh I so agree. I like the fat. The fat flavors the meat. When I pay money for ribs I don't want to throw away ends because they look unsightly.
Before watching this video I watched Tuffy Stone doing competition ribs. What a difference, the amount of prep work he does to get a nice squared up rack!
@@markbradakis5521 Who cares about a "nice squared up rack?" That is a waste of good meat.
The fact that I liked THIS video and subscribed to his channel, and NOT Tuffy Stone's should tell you which side of the fence I am on! Maybe I'll whip up some ribs for Labor Day.
Finally. Something simple yet awesome. Thank u so much for sharing ur grillin skills.
Our pleasure!
NO gimmicks here. Just good country style bbq. The one that your favorite uncle or aunt make. Good work bro.
I appreciate that
Nice job. I love BBQ meats. I do ribs and chicken on a smaller Weber kettle. Cooking fine meals on it for 30 years.
Big or small they do great
I'm glad to see somebody else out there besides me that thinks the same way thanks.
Right on! thank you for watching Happy New Year!
Cook like my dad 🥺 I miss my father now, in the best way 🥰👍
WOW I'm truly honored to cook like your dad he sounds like a great man out there grilling up for his family. Great times and memories to hold on to. Sounds like you were the lucky kid in the neighborhood. Thank you for watching and the pleasure is all mine.
@@bbqsouthernstyle I am glad you have a platform to share your talent, you are doing some really great cooking chef!
You win first prize in my book!
Thank you so much and thanks for the watch.
It's 7 am watching this with a cup of coffee and now I want ribs. Thank you!
Lol I hope went and got some
A 37'' kettle gives you the area of about three 22'' kettles. I can see the ranch kettle being useful if you're actually cooking for a lot of people regularly. Guessing it's quicker to start 1 large kettle than 3 smaller ones
Yers sir it is lol
Man you made me a huge fan.🎉well done!
Thank you lol and thank you for watching.
I love your "no trim" style. Thats the way I do it.
The way to go lol
The way you teach how to season is my favorite part of your videos. The hardest part of cooking for me is the seasoning. Thank you.
You are so welcome thank you for watching.
I like how you don't use all these extra tricks, you know your woods and how to control set your fires! AMAZING bro💥🔥💪🏿
Thank you, sir. I love to cook over real fire with natural flavors and smoke. just want people to see there is a traditional side to real BBQ. I'm just a modern day cave man, lol.
when you said "Growing up poor, nothing goes to waste." < I felt that brotha!. Great video and I learned something new. God bless.
Thank you God bless you to Jessus is good.

A man
I am guilty of trimming the ribs to square the up, however I use the trimmings for a pot of beans. I like the idea of using the full ribs and having those rib tips. Thank you for the idea! Subscribing to a great channel!!!
Thank you very happy to have you aboard.
Great pit. Spot on, livin' in the country cook. Thanks for posting.
Anytime thank you.
Its Summer time here in the United Kingdom and BBQ time beckons, can't wait to try to do the BBQ this way, thanks for sharing =)
Sounds great! and you very much welcome.
I love how your not afraid to mention growing up poor. We basically grew up the same way and I know what it's like eating the same thing day after day. Your style of cooking is right down my alley also. Charing those ribs made me want to jump in the video and get a bite! I'll be doing half chickens from now on too. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Thank you sir and God Bless.
God bless you too sir😊
I just eat a boring grilled cheese sandwich before watching your video.
Thank you for making me even more hungry.
lol
But some grilled peppers and a slice of ham or any deli meat 🍖 and it will taste better. Or put different types of cheeses 😅
Cherry, pecan, oak is what i use for my bbq. Love the way you cook
Thank you glad you like the cooking.
I randomly came across your RUclips channel today. I watched your first video on brisket and am going to watch them all from the bottom of the list up. I subscribed and really enjoy your style of cooking and chill videos. I have only been outdoor cooking for about 5 years so i have no history to look back on, but i love your cooking style. Best thing about bbq is there is no wrong way as long as it taste good to you. I believe i will pick up a lot of tips and tricks feom your channel. Thank you for what you are doing.
Welcome and glad to have you sir, and I know you well pick up lots of tips. Thank you for watching and enjoy the show.
I was looking for great ways to cook ribs and chicken for Christmas dinner
Perfect! Glad I could help.
Absolutely a great video!
Thank you
Nice information well done and that silky smooth radio voice. Yeah 😊
LOL Thank you LOL
Trimming without trimming!! That’s my kind of rationale. I’m glad you showed me that. I’ve never tucked in end piece of ribs.. but have folded the end of a chicken breast before roasting. Can’t wait to try this recipe!
Yes sir give her a go it works out grate and thank you.
It works the same with fish fillets just tuck the tail in wich is thinner than head portion😅
We tune you in at work, when we're processing soap, and really enjoy watching your cooking it makes our day go by fast. Soap Mogul Company
Wow, thank you! I am glad we can do that for your guys thank you for watching.
Excellent video, that is exactly the way I love to grill / smoke ribs and chicken. Thanks for the video!!!
Any time and thank you for watching
I love my 22in weber. Great cook. Most don't know how good they can work as a smoker. I'm guilty of being lazy with my pellet smoker. I have a large smoker that requires real wood and I love cooking on it when I can make the time to use it. Since I typed that out loud I need to make more time to use it.
Thank you and yes you need to fire the real wood pit back up and you may retire your pellet for a minute lol.Welcome to BBQ Southern Style.
Man, l have to share with ypu, I like your style. Very thorough explanation, great recipies, all in all, very enjoyable videos. Look forward to seeing more. Keep up the great work and best of luck.
Thank you for your kind words and appreciate you watching
Love how you use the ENTIRE rib!! GIMME SOME!! 😂
Right! lol
Say Bruh, im impressed with your cooking style on Weber Kettle pit and I will adapt your style whenever I get one. Thanks for coming to the Channel keep doing what you are doing Bruh 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😋😋😋🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Young man, I love to watch you cook! I’ve never done ribs the way that I just watched you do, but I can’t wait to when I can get out and get some going! I’ve never had rib tips, but thanks to your guidance I now know how to do it.
Keep up the good work and thank you for what you do.
Just glad i can help.
Quite the BBQ collection you've got!
Thank you, I figured I would stop at 2. That was 35 years ago and I'm still collecting lol.

Thank you so much for sharing your tried and true knowledge with us! You make it look so simple, but those of us not at your level, knows a expert when we see one! No shade, no tea! Thanks again!
You are so welcome!
500's a nice deal on a Ranch if it's in good order. Not many people realize what goes into manufacturing a Ranch vs. the traditional 22 in kettle wondering why they cost a lot. I'd get one myself if I didn't already have two 22 in kettles and two WSM's! Great job, there. Food looks fantastic.
Thank you, sir and I don't know why, they cost so much also lol. I love the grill now that I am cooking on it and feel it's worth every penny of the 1900 bucks. Great grill/smoker. Great having you watching and love your support.
My man has got a lot of useful information here . Much appreciated and that Webber is glorious. Keep the videos coming God bless
Thank you and God bless you as well.
This type of BBQ reminds me of the way we used to cook before the big contests. Ribs were mopped and grill/smoked, bringing out the taste of the moist and smoky pork. Chicken and ribs didn't need all that sugary sauce. Thanks for reminding me of this kind of real tasty meat.
Yes, you are so correct. Who ever thought we would be at a point today cooking meats with sugars and loaded up with BBQ sauce. Time to get back to barbecuing meats the tasty and heathy way. Real food, real fire. Nowadays too much BBQ can lead to a dental visit with all the sweet stuff added, lol. It really shouldn't be that way. Thank you for watching and for your support sir.
This was a Godsend for my carnivore diet. Wanted to get away from the sugar and back to my Southern roots here in West Tennessee. The kettle is smoking as I type.@@bbqsouthernstyle

Very good video on how to use the weber to smoke ribs on and yes you are correct most backyard hotdog cooker’s don’t have a clue how to smoke with a weber.

Those are the best looking chicken's, and the bend under of the ribs is on point! And everything was grilled perfectly, the way they should be! Awsome job! 😅
Thanks so much!
I cook very similar to my ribs, the key for me is no foil, lots of indirect heat, and chunks of wood. My favorite part is the rib tips. I haven't done chicken just yet, I'm Afraid of wasting a good piece of chicken and drying them out to much. I never thought about tucking that rib tips but I'm doing that. Good stuff man. Thank you
your very welcome Linna and any time. Practice is the key got my fist grill at ten years old so I have some time in lol.
Chicken is so cheap, it's the best thing to practice with. Leg quarters are usually the cheapest.
Your production value is miles and miles beyond what 1.86k subs would suggest. I look forward to watching your channel take off man. Glad to see you carry on the tradition. Best of luck!
Thank you for the very nice comment and I am very happy that people like yourself are watching and engaging. Welcome aboard and the best is yet to come. Stick around.
Good simple food that we youst to eat. Brings back memories that are hidden. Good job God bless 😘
Wow I would pay a hefty price $ to be at that table, great work!
LOL Thank you and thank you for watching.
Like you, I had a Weber Ranch that I bought at a garage sale. Used it for 10 years, and sold it for more than I paid. LOL. They can feed an army with the real estate they have. I now have the Weber Summit charcoal. One of the few bbqs that I rate higher than the Ranch Kettle.
You have an awesome technique
Thank you!
Ooh chyle!.... lol. Bruh you took me home with that cook. Love your "keep it real no nonsense" cooking style. I actually hit pause and fired up my Weber 26 to cook up some rib eyes I had marinating using that same indirect then direct method....old school style.😮
Nice the weber 26 is a great grill I'll take all the room I can get on a grill. Thank you for watching and grill on my friend you never go wrong with old school.
U r the best I’ve been cooking over 55 yrs I have learned so much from u thank you,I was watching your leg of lamb I never knew how to cook it I only did the chops learned from a friend who eats more pork than me she is a Muslim lol she had me to use garam masala seasoning excellent on lamb try it u will love it. Again thank you

Love what you did here. I’m from 🇨🇦. Weather is warming up and I’m gonna try this method. I have a 22” Weber. I will make it work. Thanks man.
Have fun!
Just found this channel, easy sub. I def learned a few tips on the ribs over coal. That's just how I like them, similar to the bite on a Chinese spare rib, but with American style flavors (although I do like asian style too). Fall off the bone ribs are good, but at that point I'd rather just have chopped pork, which IMO is better with a shoulder and not the ribs. This right here, is how I like my ribs. My man!
Yes I'm with you on that 100% all the way. thank you for the sub and for watching.
Well done! Both ways. ur a smart man, thank you.
Thank you sir for watching.

Great video. I’m just learning how to get my charcoal burning right and adjusting the grill vents properly. I love grilling and want to get into smoking meats too. Looking forward to learning from your videos.
Awesome Amigo! Great insight! Definitely enjoyed!
Thank you sir.
Great job on the kettle. Knowing what your pit is doing and having that insight makes the job and results so much easier. Seeing people rely on gadgets for me only takes away from a cook as this, using your eyes and knowing the pit and what it's capable of brings it all together. I enjoyed watching, no fanfare, bravado just straight down the road give it to me BBQ. The only thing I pulled exception to was the comment saying this is southern Q and that's how we do it. Not much different here in my northern backyard, I do my ribs the same but on a Santa Maria. Well, I really enjoyed the presentation, could almost taste the cook, it pulled on my BBQ happiness, it was a good ride. I subscribed, how could I not
Im from up north
