  • Sepsis is the leading killer of infants and children worldwide, causing more than 250,000 deaths in America annually. Orlaith and Ciaran Staunton's lives changed forever when their 12-year-old son Rory died from sepsis that he had acquired while in the hospital. Rory's death could have been prevented had the medical professionals treating him recognized the signs of septic shock.

    Im so SORRY for you both
    My patience of 10 yrs was diagnosed then dead the next day
    First DEATH i have to deal with

    Oh my gosh! I am so sorry for your loss. I would she them all for medical Negligence! This was so wrong, I mean, those dip shizzts should have been more vigilant. This is not ok! These medical "professionals" should have the book thrown at them and the people at the school ! I stand with you.
