The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth at -420 meters below sea level. The Dead Sea in Hebrew is Yam Ha-Melakh which means (sea of salt). It’s surrounded by the beautiful landscape from Israel as well from Jordan side. It is called Dead Sea because the concentration of salt is so high, no fish can survive there, or any other animal life. The Dead Sea is an amazing unique place on earth and it is totally worth to be visited.
