I had no idea what I was looking at. You went through it so fast. Also, you kept repeating the same images over and over which was distracting

They just need to get loop components office wide and add a couple more features to really take off

I downloaded the app and created few workspaces and pages. It's still in very nascent stage. I could not attach files, there was no option to backlink pages (however, you can link pages which is basically URL for the pages, when clicked, opens in the browser).

Essentially, I just need Notion with Microsoft integration and have not luck to this point. Loop doesn't seem like it is that. Maybe I am wrong?

It really needs inline relational databases like Notion and alternative table views like Gallery, Kanban, etc.

So far I'm unimpressed. I have a Microsoft 365 personal account and I only have access to the preview version. It would seem that the preview version doesn't have several of the new features such as To Do integration. To me, at this point, it's just a word processor that can create hierarchical pages.

I need to be able to get it on my iOS, Android, and Mac devices… then I need to see how I can use it as a personal and business wiki, before it’s even in contention. But I understand it’s still only just starting to be released in the Microsoft Store - which is absolutely useless to me even though I work with a Microsoft 365 account on my various devices. It would make more sense if it was built into Microsoft 365 and available for account holders.

The software is heavily tends towards team users imo.
I can't seem to find a spot for it in my personal business work. It's just another OneNote alternative.

Loop seems like Sharepoint for a new generation. Am I wrong?

This looks like an app you try and find a use for. Il give it a couple years before they retire it or “merge into obscurity” into another tool

How likely are they to expand features for MSA users?

I dont trust microsoft projects outside the usual excel, word and else.
I feel like they dont invest in those products at all, and let them fade away.

Glad to see you do these videos to see how apps are fairing months after release. I think MS Loop definitely has a place for teams who are already in the MS ecosystem and for those who find building Notion from scratch too daunting. Personally, I love Notion for my personal wiki and don't see myself switching to Loop anytime soon.

I wish they had baked it into Business Premium and Enterprise plans of 365.

There is no point in comparing since they hit completely different markets.
Notion is for small businesses, tech companies, individuals, entrepreneurs, etc.
Microsoft Loop is for enterprise corporate accounts.
There is very little overlap between these two types.
